Solution to Spam: 0 - 30 tickets per comment, as desired by the game creator. Once a comment is made, the tickets the creator wants to disappear will disappear. The game creator will not get the tickets, the tickets will just vanish. The game creator can judge whether he wants his comments to be free, if he wants commenting expensive, or if he wants them to be in between. This is so that those who manage to get their game to the front page will be able to make commenting expensive, and for those whose games are more pages back can make them free or cheap. A lot of those who spam probably are alts who just joined. If they have so few tickets (because we are assuming they are alts that just started), they won't be able to spam for very much, or won't be able to spam at all. How do you like this idea? I think it is a good idea to give the players the power of moderating their spam.

Defeats the point

@Toxic, eh... You don't have any arguing point. What is wrong with my idea? >Players can choose how much tickets it can take to comment on their places. Whether comments are free or expensive, it will be up to the creator. Why can't we judge how much tickets it will take?

"Solution to Spam: 0 - 30 tickets per comment, as desired by the game creator. Once a comment is made, the tickets the creator wants to disappear will disappear. The game creator will not get the tickets, the tickets will just vanish." The idea of tickets 'vanishing' seems very ridiculous. That's like making the price for the people to buy a shirt, but instead the money that should go to you 'vanishes.' "The game creator can judge whether he wants his comments to be free, if he wants commenting expensive, or if he wants them to be in between. This is so that those who manage to get their game to the front page will be able to make commenting expensive, and for those whose games are more pages back can make them free or cheap." I don't think it'll work that way. More likely those who make decent places make their comments free or cheap, and the bad places make them either expensive or disable them (jaredvaldez, anyone?) "A lot of those who spam probably are alts who just joined. If they have so few tickets (because we are assuming they are alts that just started), they won't be able to spam for very much, or won't be able to spam at all." But then there's that daily bonus they get every day for logging in, and they can still spam up the free places to their content. "How do you like this idea? I think it is a good idea to give the players the power of moderating their spam." It's an OK idea, but basically, it just seems ridiculous.

@Doppy, Nice criticism. I will explain my reasoning for the ridiculous statements. I liked the idea of vanishing tickets more than just having them go to the creator. It seemed to be a lot better sounding to me, since it was your 2 cents, and you just gave it away. If the creator gets the tickets, it would be too easy to get money, as one's alts would start spamming his comments section to get tickets. Since tickets are also pretty useless in Roblox as a currency, you may as well throw it away. >Reminder, there is a limit, 30 tickets. You won't see ridiculous 9.99 x 10^12 tix requirements to comment. My statement about how people can use this idea to their advantage is quite true. If your game is popular, you may want to start making commenting expensive, to detract from spammers that typically spam on popular, traffic heavy games. (Look at Apocalypse Rising comments, then look at Left 2 Survive comments) Thenoob2899 can have a low or free comment cost, since he doesn't get spam, while Gusmanak could make his comments expensive due to the amount of spam he gets. >Your second point also made me realize something. This is a game full of kids that don't know how to use economics! I probably should have titled the thread, "A good way to reduce spammers." Obviously, there are going to be ones who will spam. But remember, they are spending money every time they spam. Money can go fast if they are not careful, not to mention that moderators can tackle them down. Thanks for your input and criticism. I hope you know my explanations and understand why I made such ridiculous statements attached to my idea.

Make it a BC only feature because accounts can already make money by making a shirt and getting alts to buy it. ~Da estupidez é forte em um presente~

still seems ridiculous, you are basically silencing the poor much like the medieval period where people got heavily taxed. roblox would just dampen down and only bc would comment
