@Doppy, Nice criticism. I will explain my reasoning for the ridiculous statements.
I liked the idea of vanishing tickets more than just having them go to the creator. It seemed to be a lot better sounding to me, since it was your 2 cents, and you just gave it away. If the creator gets the tickets, it would be too easy to get money, as one's alts would start spamming his comments section to get tickets. Since tickets are also pretty useless in Roblox as a currency, you may as well throw it away.
>Reminder, there is a limit, 30 tickets. You won't see ridiculous 9.99 x 10^12 tix requirements to comment.
My statement about how people can use this idea to their advantage is quite true. If your game is popular, you may want to start making commenting expensive, to detract from spammers that typically spam on popular, traffic heavy games. (Look at Apocalypse Rising comments, then look at Left 2 Survive comments) Thenoob2899 can have a low or free comment cost, since he doesn't get spam, while Gusmanak could make his comments expensive due to the amount of spam he gets.
>Your second point also made me realize something. This is a game full of kids that don't know how to use economics!
I probably should have titled the thread, "A good way to reduce spammers." Obviously, there are going to be ones who will spam. But remember, they are spending money every time they spam. Money can go fast if they are not careful, not to mention that moderators can tackle them down.
Thanks for your input and criticism. I hope you know my explanations and understand why I made such ridiculous statements attached to my idea. |
