What about the inappropriate user names? If the user of ROBLOX has an inappropriate name should there be an appeal? I think the answer is obvious, but I would like to hear your take on this. |

Accounts that are made specifically to break rules or harass users should be deleted and not appealed. This would be an exception to the revisions I set forth, thank you for pointing it out.
Although, if an account is over a year old, and by the standards of the moderators it has been active, and not just sitting there the whole time, and it gets deleted solely because it has an inappropriate username, I believe this should be able to be appealed.
The reason for this, is because like I said in the original post, this game is full of kids, maturing at different times, and if they have been playing for a year and not harassing users the entire time, then by god they deserve a second chance.
Also, a name change would be in order. I suppose the cleanest way to do this would be the following:
Whenever the appeal is accepted, they would say "You must choose a new username that follows the Community Guidelines and ToS before your account is reactivated. List 3 in a reply, order them in which you would like most." |

I realize the moderators have tons of features they are working on developing, but I wouldn't recommend putting this on your to-do-list behind all of those features.
How often are there major updates to moderation? From what I can tell, not that often. The last big one I remember was the release of the appeal system.
If my revisions are considered by the staff, I believe it is important that they are made top priority. Acts of moderation happen all the time, if there is a flaw in it, I believe it is necessary to fix it asap, especially with a userbase this large.
ROBLOX Staff, please read over and consider all of my revisions, together we can improve moderation.
