As I see it it's not even a language. Animals do not speak the languages of humans. They communicate by primative means.

Their means of communication are not "primitive". They've been talking like that in primitive times, but its modern too, because they still do it. Well, it works differently for them. They might make special calls or actions, or not even talk at all most of the time.
