I am an author in training, So most of the time I can make up a good plot for a game/movie/book in less then 1 minute. But most of my ideas are single player games, See the problem here? And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person to suggest this idea. AND with only one person in the game at once, That leaves a lot of room for game developers to add to their game without it lagging up. I know this is scriptable but, What about the non scripters out their?
I'm pretty sure it won't take a lot to implement, And it would be another big update to roblox. Remember, This would be OPTIONAL.

Single player games allow people to do things like hacking more easily and being unable to be reported.
Also, badges would be hella easy to get.
So many flaws, if it wasn't for these I would support. |

I don't support this, you can use scripts to separate people into different copies of the map using local parts.
One player servers would be intensive on ROBLOX.

This idea has been tossed around a bunch.
If you want to focus more on the story or gameplay than money, using a plugin to run the game from studio would be your best bet since plugins get more privileges than regular and local scripts.
If you want to focus on money you can use local parts, which are a really hacky way of preventing bricks from replicating to the server so they won't interact with other players. Just put a part into the CurrentCamera and it becomes local.
So, either way, this is scriptable. |
