Nvm, just entered my game and saw it...
And... I like it better.
It matches with my GUIs, which all have a 0.3 transparent Black background.
And, what does a look-change of a chatbar have to do with scripting?

and because of the new one you cant script build. you cant use esc to get out of it, you cant use / to continue what your typing and you cant select all or copy text from it
and you can copy and paste with the old one, you just cant use the hotkeys, you have to right click

What do you mean 'New' chatbar? Looks the same for me, cause I'm on a mac and you never could paste into Roblox on a mac.

The current chat bar has a slow response time when the frame rate drops. My typos have increased, and I start sounding like this: "Hi Im Gmher, hw re yu?"
I really don't like the new chat bar.. You've said it too, I don't like the 1024 character limit either for scripting purposes, and live midi sharing purposes.
So either reverting would be a good idea, or overhauling the TextBox code. I actually would love a TextBox overhaul, it would not only link to the chat bar, but it would make the TextBox object more worth using. |
