I read this article yesterday about how the steroid era has made us truly made us suspicious to any jumps in HRs by a player. Chris Davis is currently under that level of suspicion of juicing as he has already matched his career high in HRs in only 91 games. Jose Bautista went through the same suspicion when in 2009 he finished the season with 54 HRs despite never getting more than 20 HRs in a season. Will there ever be a player that gets a huge increase in HRs and won't be suspected in a steroids scandal ever again in the history of the MLB?

I've questioned Cabrera dead |
|
|
but the questioning that's going to go on with Davis at the end of the season is going to be ridiculous, meanwhile, Miggy may when the triple crown, for the second straight year and going to be praised as the best hitter of this decade. |

Cabrera steriods?
He must've been taking them all of his career because his numbers are pretty consistent. |

Doubt there will ever be just a talented season ever again, since no one will ever get the benefit of the doubt.

Are you all stupid? Davis not on steroids and I can name Power Hitters who will be big soon if not big now that are no where near steroids. Obviously Puig, Harper, Zunino, Rizzo, Votto, Freeman, Ike Davis, Stanton. There are countless power hitters who just worked their butt off. Next 5 years we are going to enter an era where you see these players jack bombs because their work ethics are 1000x better than how it was in old days. |

Everyone will get questioned at some point, it's just the sports world we're living in nowadays where no one is trusted.
