Please post what you think about the new system here. I'll start- Whenever I first saw this update in my feed, it struck me as just another ploy roblox is using to make paid memberships look more tempting. But when I clicked to learn more about paid access, I realized that, while it did emphasize robux, it also appeared to be more about spreading the wealth in the community around. I slowly started to like the idea, until near the end I read this, and I quote:
"When will I get my ROBUX for selling access?
ROBUX earned from selling access is placed in escrow for up to three business days before being paid out. BC members will receive 70% of the proceeds from access sales; everyone else will receive 10% of sales. "
What the heck is that supposed to mean? That of all the profits you supposedly make from people buying their way into your place you only get a fraction of it? That is, unless you pay roblox with real cash, already. I suppose it wouldn't bother me so much if it was like NBC got 10% and BC got 15 or 20%, but 70%? They should be the ones spreading the wealth, not getting it all horded up for themselves.
In the end, I realized that good quality places should be open to everyone, anyway.
