The US is not in debt to other countries. We are in devt to ourselves. Basically we spent more than our taxes can pay for. We did not borrow money from China. We borrowed it from taxpayers. EVERY COUNTRY IS IN DEBT. |

Its not 50 trillion dollars. Its more like 10 trillion dollars. Yet per person the US is less in debt than the UK. Debt is a part of government. |

The national debt for America is $11.383 trillion (to be exact) and people are planning that that number will be raised.
There are two people to blame. George W. Bush (for starting this), and Barrack Obama (who hasn't even done anything when he should be fixing this). |
