To start off this forum page, I want to remind you all of Guilds in Fairy Tail.
Generally, there are three different types of Guilds: Legal, Dark, and Independent.
A Legal Guild is one that has been approved and registered by the Magic Council while a Dark Guild is one that has not been approved by the Magic Council and is treated as a criminal organization. An independent guild is one that is not approved by the Magic Council, but at the same time is not considered a criminal organization. Very little has been shown about independent guilds, though it appears that they can do whatever they can as long as the Magic Council doesn’t disapprove of them.
There are many other guilds besides Magic guilds, such as merchant, mercenary, treasure hunter, even bandit guilds. Happy, the flying cat, once implied that there are workmen guilds, too. These guilds will have to go through the same procedure as a Legal Guild.
A Legal Guild has to go through certain procedures. In order to become a Legal Guild, a GMIT, Guild Master In Training, will have to first attain a group of 30+ members. Doing so, he will show leadership. Then, after gaining the members, the GMIT has to gather enough money to buy the land they want to set their Guild House in. They must pay rent, too. Once all this is done, they will get a stamp decal in their guild authorizing that they are LEGAL.
The guild will have the OPPORTUNITY to garner enough jewels to keep themselves active. Moderators will give WORLD QUESTS. World Quests are quests that are handed to EVERY Magic Guild; first come first serve. World Quests will give you A LOT of money, but will be VERY difficult -- you may want to get every S-CLASS and mage. (Further Information of World Quests will be given, later)
Another way to get enough jewels is to be LIKED by the non-magic guilds. Guild Masters, and only Guild Masters, will have the ability to give out quests. Please, take a screenshot because if they lied to you I can't help you, unless you have a screenshot.
