RobloxPlayerLauncher.EXE has stopped working

A few weeks ago, the Roblox program on my PC must've magically uninstalled itself, because when I went to play it, it wanted me to re-install it. I tried to do so, but as soon as i tried running RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe it would say "RobloxPlayerLauncher.EXE has stopped working" and nothing would happen. I've put off posting for a couple of weeks, but I want to get back into roblox. Please help!

I wouldn't do that. My cure is to. Delete all ROBLOX programs. Install ROBLOX again. Then it should work. Worked for me.

Uninstall ROBLOX entirely and re-install it. That includes the player and studio.

Went through the registry, cleared it out there. Went to Appdata, program files, and documents and cleared it out. It did nothing. I guess my PC is just too old to handle the growing beast that is Roblox.

@Garfield Take a look at your Task Manager There might be unwanted programs running. So close the program using the task manager. -Additional Info- Windows 8 has the SLOWEST FPS RATE Windows 7 has the BEST Windows XP is OK Thanks.

Yeah, I don't have 8,7, or XP, I have Vista. And I constantly have Task Manager running, so what sort of "unwanted programs" are you speaking of?

I have vista too and i have the same problem almost.... It's because vista is getting to be out of date. I advise that you get a new p.c (recommended windows 7) and that will fix your problem. Windows vista is really slow but it worked fine for me a couple of months ago.

i have windows vista too, but i haven't had that problem yet, but i suggest entirely shutting down your computer and then boot it back p afte a couple of minutes, if you don't shut your computer down every now and then, you'll start haveing problems with software

For some reason, my player launcher has quit working...i reinstalled it, but it won't reinstall...insted, it cuts off my internet connection and kills roblox player launcher. Before i reinstalled it, it will say "Roblox Player Launcher is forbidden to be launched.", so i dunno what to do, or what could be done.

It might seems to be the security blocked you from playing Roblox. turn all of the off in the internet option or turn firewall off hopefull it helped.

Try this: Press the windows button on your keyboard and the "R" key together. Type this in the box: regedit.exe. Click the small white arrow next to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" Click software once you see it. Now delete any thing that has to due with ROBLOX. Now once you've done that, re-install ROBLOX and restart your computer. If that doesn't work I have no idea how to help you but I hope this helped. c:
