Ok, so you know all those spam links in the comments?
Instead of banning those people and leaving the comments there, their comments should be removed while they are banned.
Say there is this guy "Bob".
Say there is this noob "Joe"
Bob visits a survey site.
Joe uses his account to post comments advertising that survey website.
With the old system in place Joe's comments will exist forever.
With this feature, Joe's comments no longer exist and therefore are not seen by other players.
Also, increase awareness that those survey are spam by telling people not to go there.
Put a splash next to the comment box warning them about going to a site like that. |
