Hai, I just came up with an idea to fortify the protection of our ROBLOX accounts. Why? All of you know those .R0BL0XSECURITY scan sites, Surveys etc. that all make your account getting stolen. Now, with the Pin codes update, your account can be in someone else's hands, but he can't steal you from your money or items, unless the thief knows your PIN(Which is very unlikely.) How? When someone signs up, they get to choose a PIN code of 5 numbers. People that are already signed up get to change their pin at the next time they log on. The PIN code will be used for the next few things: Changing 3M@!l address for your account, Changing p4ssw0rd, Buying items(Clothing, anything.), accepting trade requests and sending trade requests(Preventing items from getting stolen), and deleting items from your inventory. You get 5 opportunities to type the PIN right. After that, you will be sent a message, telling you your PIN wasn't right, and takes you to a link that shows you your pin. Until you went to that link, you can't use anything related to your PIN code. When you want to change your PIN, your 3mail gets sent a message with a link where you can change the PIN. I think you guys won't like the idea of entering your PIN every single time doing those things, but it DOES prevent your money and items from being stolen or deleted. This idea is an unbreakable fortification which makes it so your money or items can't be stolen anymore. When you follow the procedure of messaging [email protected] when your account was stolen, you receive your account back the next day. Support? Thank you! No support? Reason please, so we can improve the idea.

This is a well-thought out suggestion. We are currently considering what we can do to make account phishing more difficult, and this is a possibility.

@Cal, I want to see what other users think of the idea. If they completely hate it then why would it be added.

Still nothing to enforce security added. Bump if moderators still check this forum.

Not really hard to track mouse movements, but whatever. Support, but you should be able to use a 'recover PIN' feature which sends an email to the verified email on account. while obamacare() do benefitMiddleClass() end --LuaWeaver

Hmm... What about if the PIN is only required once if the site recognizes that you're on a new computer? So then you'd only have to be burdened once. Unless, of course, the thieves will go to great lengths and steal your computer at gunpoint or something.

support feel free to eat me if you said this, but it would be good to make this optional and this could be added when you buy stuff, you have to enter the code.
