***Sinfully's Admin Commands Crash Course v2.0
--> Chapter 1: The Basics
Welcome. If you've come here accidentally, please check out Sinfully's Admin Commands ( http://www.roblox.com/Sins-Admin-Commands-item?id=123543739 ).
Sinfully's Admin Commands are 'smarter' than other commands. Written below is how to use them.
To Install Commands:
- Simply put them in Workspace by inserting the model.
- Make sure you own the model or the commands will not autoupdate and may break.
- The owner of the place is automatically an admin, you can set more by changing the Admins in line 12.
Simply put a comma and more names with quotes around them:
local Admins = {"Person_You_Want_To_Be_Admin","Player2","Sinfully"}
You can use as many names as you'd like.

--> Chapter 2 - HotWords!
These are words to grab a selection of people easily. Currently, there aren't many hotwords:
All / Everyone - Targets every player in the game.
Others - Targets anyone that isn't the speaker.
Random / Someone / Somebody - Targets a random player.
Me / Myself - Targets the speaker.
If a Clan Plugin is used, or HR_Rank is set in the settings:
HRs / HighRanks - Targets all HRs
LRs / LowRanks - Targets all LRs

--> Chapter 3 - How to use Commands
Using the commands is simple. You just include the prefix and then the command and then its arguments.
The default prefix is "/". So, the syntax with the default settings is:
/COMMAND ARGUMENTS
Any names can be written in shorthand
"Sinfully" -> "sin"
But it must be the beginning of the name.
Commands have alternate names. There are many ways to do a single command sometimes:
/kill sin
/decimate sin
/destroy sin
These will all kill the user Sinfully (assuming I'm in the game.)
Casing and spaces do not matter! (Unless the name contains spaces!)
Below I will show every command and the usage for each.
I'll also give rough representations of how to use the command. In the case of the kill command, this looks like "/kill USER".
USER means Any player or 'hotword'

Info: Changes the leaderstat by the number after it or 1. Leaderstats can be written in shorthand like names.

Info: Same thing as 'award', but instead of adding the number, it changes the leaderstat to that number.
Commands: Forcefield, ff, Shield
Reversal: Unforcefield, Unff, Unshield

Info: Gives Sinfully a ForceField
Commands: Drop, PlatformStand
Reversal: Undrop, UnPlatformStand
/Drop USER

Commands: Team, SetTeam

Info: Sets Sinfully's team to Raiders (accepts partial names for teams!)
Commands: Health, SetHealth, Heal
/Heal USER [NUMBER]
/heal sin
/health sin 10
Info: Sets Sinfully's Health to full if there's no number, or to that number.
Commands: MaxHealth, MHealth, SetHealth
/MaxHealth USER NUMBER
/MaxHealth sin 1000
Info: Changes Sinfully's MaxHealth to the number.
Commands: Give
/Give USER TOOL
/give sinfully sword
Info: Gives Sinfully 'sword' if 'sword' is in Tool_Storage. (Accepts partial names)

Reversal: fireoff, fire off, nomoarfire, nomorefire, bbstopfire

Info: Lights the speaker's body on fire (CREDIT: NVI)
Commands: Beard

Info: Gives Sinfully a beard
Commands: ide, idonteven, i dont even

-- Permanent Admin Commands
-- Only users that were set as Admins (or are Higher than Minimum Rank if GroupId is set) can use these commands. Users set with "/admin" CANNOT.
Commands: Shutdown
/shutdown
Info: Crashes the server and makes all users lose connection.
Commands: localscript, ls
/ls SOURCE
/ls print("Hello World!")
Info: Runs a LocalScript with the source after 'ls'
Commands: script, s, c
/s SOURCE
/s print("Hello World!")
Info: Runs a Script with the source after 's'
Commands: Admin
Reversal: Unadmin
/admin USER
/admin sinfully
Info: Makes Sinfully a Temporary Admin.
Commands: Kick, Exile
/kick USER
/kick sinfully
Info: Kicks Sinfully from the game
Commands: Ban, Crash
Reversal: Unban, Uncrash
/ban USER
/ban sinfully
Info: Bans Sinfully from the current server. (This crashes) The reversal requires a single full name!

So now that you've read all that, you're a pro, right? No! There's more to these commands.

--> Chapter 6: Plugins
As my Commands grow, I'll create plugins. Plugins are simply scripts that either add commands or settings. To see all the available plugins please go here:

Plugins don't autoupdate, so it's always good to be sure that you have the latest version of any plugin you might want.
In the future, I may create command packs.
--> Chapter 7: Post-Filters
"Post-Filters" is the name I've been giving this feature for a while, because it filters the targetting of your commands. Currently there is only one filter.
Within # Studs / w#s
This filter checks the distance from the speaker to the targetted players.
Example:
/kill all within 50 studs
This will kill everyone, including yourself that is within 50 studs from your Torso.
A more realistic example would be for clan trainings. Lets say that you are a trainer and you had the trainees to an obstacle course.
The trainees who died would go back to the lobby room in your training center and the winners would be at the end of the course.
Assuming the leaderstat "Points" is in the game:
/award others w50s p
Would give everyone near you a point for completing the course. Good job to them!
--> Chapter 8: MultiCommands
MultiCommands may be the strongest part of these commands, but also the most complicated.
MultiCommands are multiple commands fired at once.
They're written like:
/COMMAND ARGUMENTS/COMMAND ARGUMENTS/COMMAND ARGUMENTS...
You can run as many as ROBLOX can take in the chat bar (500 characters worth.)
There's also a special command for MultiCommands "w#". "w#" delays for #. "w7" will wait for 7 seconds before continuing.
MultiCommands work from left to right. If I wanted to explode people close to me without killing myself, I could:
/ff me/explode all/w0.5/unff me
This would:
Give me a ForceField
Explode everyone
Wait half a second for the explosion to go away
Remove my forcefield.
Or maybe you want to give everyone weapons after a countdown?
/countdown 10/w10/give all sword

Are you really that stupid? You've completely missed the point. Any command script does that. You obviously haven't even tried it or even LOOKED at it. It has SO many more features that Kohl could NEVER make. He's a complete idiot, his commands are just brute-force crap and 10x more lines of scripting than they should be. Not to mention they're filled with crap that makes him admin everywhere. It's quite embarrassing.
Try reading her whole post before you flame. You clearly missed the parts about compound commands, post-filters, sequencing, plugins, and integration with a chat GUI.

Hmm. This one seems a little better than Khol's admin commands. I might try it out and if i like it i will probably update the commands to all of my group places. But as you said in the message for fun commands, A feature to make it unavailable could be useful for keeping my HR's from admin abusing in that way. |

You don't even know how to script, do you? Her commands are infinitely more flexible. Person299 is an idiot that writes out every single command in an if-block. It's like he doesn't even realize how much easier he could've made it.

there's no reason to turn around and drop kohl's in exchange for this one especially after learning the ins and outs of kohl's
do these commands even have admin command logs? I'd be surprised if the script builder worked efficiently. |

Kohl's commands are terrible and inflexible. Sinfully's just _work_, how can you get any more intuitive and user-friendly than that? They're extremely forgiving, and if you can work Kohl's, you already know the basics to hers.
Plus, since they're auto-updating, she can very, very easily add logs.
Why wouldn't the script builder work efficiently? There's literally only one way to run scripts. You're embarrassing yourself. |

@Imperiatus, please just hold on :P Don't judge my commands quite yet they're barely a week in the making. I'll continue to develop them and add to them as time goes on. I'm trying to get a good theme for my GUI before making all those GUI based commands. |

you keep saying they're terrible but thousands of people use them. if there was that much of a quality issue i don't think it would be that popular, nor do i think they're horrible just because you and your oh so refined tastes think they are. |

and yes, we know the basics to kohl's already. that's precisely why we shouldn't change. everyone already uses and is used to kohl's, changing to a new admin system would be like the united states changing to the metric system. you can argue that it should be done but it's just not viable or worth the time. |

It's efficient by all means, but it's not necessarily an admin script I would want to use to replace Kohl's or anything else.
Though you probably are adding more features and such, just right now it's nothing too special aside from having the essential functions and a few fun commands that don't really do much. |
