Since i get over 2000 Pms each week of people asking me how to fly And other questions, i am making this thread to answer all of those... How to fly: simply sit in a plane, if no gui's pop up regen the plane, Pull up the lever fully, when the plane starts to move (depending on what plane your flying) hold the square buttons in middle of the screen to turn onto the runway (the 2 square buttons in the middle of the screen are used to turn in the air and on the ground) hold the Up arrow or W to fly down, hole the down arrow or S to fly up, and there you have it, that's simply how you fly, with more practice you will become a great flyer... The flying is the same as ro-planes 2 flying except it is more complex and you MUST control your plane at all times. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Questions ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1: My plane moves without me controlling it!: Thats wind.. like i said, roplanes 3 is a lot more realistic than roplanes 2, so if you are having troubles flying roplanes 2 planes i highly suggest you don't play roplanes 3, but yeah, you must control your plane at all times. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have any other questions i should put in here, just message me or post them on the comments of this thread.

For the military aircraft, there is no way to use the weapons.

Are you aware that your landing gear acts like it's made of paper AND renders the plane inoperable when it touches anything, including the ground? I understand that it should break off under certain stresses, but I set my huey down at the minimum possible velocity (no throttle) and the the thing still crumbled when it touched the ground. I know how to fly a plane, and they are NOT that delicate. I think you may have one or two too many zeroes in the break script.

Alot of people say when u use the helicopters ur suposed to hover not land.

@az, there are no weapons usable in my game -.- that will ruin it if they did.

@marc , @ultimate , Landing and what not just takes practice... keep trying.

Yeah the helicopters are glitched, I landed really softly with the Huey and it just exploded when I touched the ground.

The helicopters are landable like I said, it just uses the same mechanics like the planes, where the longer you have it with power, the longer it will take for it to land. So if you are flying a Huey, and you head to isle1, you might need to decend slowly from about 10 hundred feet or so with no throttle for the engine to get "slow" enough to land. But yah, it is kinda a glitched out thing since, if we cut the power it starts decending slowly immediately, unlike the other planes where they just eventually slow to a stop. So either make it to where if the power is off is keeps going up until it doesn't have enough speed to continue upwards flight so we can make a successfully landing, or make it register that landing with no throttle (only for heli's) is a safe landing.

@featty , they are not glitched, people have told me this same thing and they eventually Pmed me back saying they finally did it.

I noticed on the heli, if you have the throttle on lowest (bottom) to slow down. It actually go down too fast. Move the throttle bar up a little bit, leave some gap between the bottom and lever and you'll go down more slower than if you have it at the lowest point. You'll land the heli without it breaking upon landing. As for the plane flying it self. It true it can. I jumped out of the plane and it kept on flying and never did crashed. It must had activated auto pilot or something. The plane i was flying kept flying all over the map until it ran out of gas.

You should add spoilers. Whenever I descend for landing, Im always forced to dive, which makes me fly too fast. If I pull the throttles back, It never lets me pull the nose up. If spoilers are added, then you can make descents easier, and landins more realistic. You should also add airspeed indicators, because in Ro-Planes 2, whenever I put my brakes and flaps to 4, my plane always stalls. And in Ro-planes 3, my landing gear keeps tearing off when I land too fast.

Thats because you are descending too fast, or going too fast, or you are descending with the nose too low. I pull the nose up, then cut the power right when I reach the foot of the runway.

If you put your throttle too low, you nose starts to pitch down. Sometimes the nose pitches up, to fix that, just lower the throttle a bit, or extend the flaps to 2.

@space , Yeah auto pilot happens if u jump out of plane

On how to fly. I don't really know but on regular planes, you can use the arrow keys or w, a, s, d. For most planes, you use this. Plane Stuff: Y to start X to stop F to fire missiles E to drop a bomb That is what I only know. I think on Ro-Planes, you do something different.

This is a more realistic way belinoc, you can't just "Stop" an airplane mid flight and fall to your doom. This one however makes it to where once you stop giving gas, you start slowing down, eventually to where your motion isn't enough to continue flying upwards, so you are forced to do an landing or a desperate restart of the engines :P Also the bigger the plane, the sooner it will land with no power and the longer it needs to take off (but usually offset by quick acceleration times).

@mylife is correct

The helis do need to be fixed dude so you either: A) Know when you are at a safe speed to make the landing B) Make it to, like the planes, even if you kill the throttle, the plane will continue flying in the direction you are aimed at while it slowly slows down or C) Make it to where the low speed can count as a safe landing immediately I would most likely want to see B and A, but if you must you can use C. (Please though, A would help out a lot of people).

Heli's just take a lot of practice

#109124202Saturday, August 10, 2013 12:38 AM GMT

Ik they take practice, its just you should implement some type of speed guage, since helis aren't as black and white as planes are. Also could you make it to where if someone gets "hit" with a plane, the person hit gets dealt like 500+ damage since there are people that will just stand infront of a plane whith a flare and break it (you loose 5 safety and get mad while they take 20 HP).

@Cole7778 I play all your games and I find both of your games a little bit not realistic because of basic situations. In Ro-Planes3 , I think you should enlarge your runway to x12 longer since planes can't take off that easily especially Boeing 747-800. It is like a massive passenger jet taking off like a bird from it's spot. ----------------------------------------------- A VERY GOOD SUGGESTION: For newbies make auto pilot mode where you don't have to control the plane against wind and the plane doesn't get affected or just make an island very very far away and we could use this to fly there to make it super duper realistic!!!
