only problem is good guitarists think that playing bass is like playing guitar, well, its not. You see, the strings are a lot thicker, and the neck is thinner too. play guitar and keyboard (kinda ahah). I also play ukulele. (cracks up). I might get a banjo too (another crack) but hey its all bout fun. and when people play basses like guitars, the same soudn doesnt come out. btw, CLIFF BURTON FTW

Actually, I think guitar is a little harder, why? because people who play basses like guitars have a ton of buzzing in their "bass lines". But if you can play bass like a bass, and guitar like a guitar, your good. PS before you ever wirte your own songs, practice rhythem, i know that you need a ton of rhythem, no rhythem equuals no INSTURMENT. sorry about the spelling its my keyboard.

don't forget creator of thread, you have to practice for a long time. to be good of course! but if your horrible at rhythem, practice that before playing an instrument! trust me it really reallyy helps! otherwise , keep on rocking :P

i mean it gets easier after years of practice, for me its pretty easy for me, only thing is playing arpeggios extremely fast, i can tremelo pick but not arpeggio fast.
