When ever I try to spawn in a couple of my maps (The starter spawn room has a lower roof) I spawn on top of the roof instead of inside the building. And last time I played the map, before a recent update, I spawned normally, how it should be. And there is plenty of room inside to spawn, but it spawns me on top all the time. I could fix this (Not easily) but the major problem is how two of my maps have the same structure in it where spawning is not working correctly.
Is there something I have to do or is this an update problem? |

Raising the roof would conflict with other parts of the map, and may make the map look worse in a way.
If I'd stack two people on top of each other, that is how high the ceiling is from the floor. And people were able to spawn in there perfectly before the latest update (Or one before I have not been on a week or two). |

well if there are walls near the spawn they might make it spawn on the roof.. |

Spawns are not touching any walls, they are about 5 spaces away from the walls.
I was screwing around a bit and if I did raise the ceiling, I can spawn, or if I lowered the spawn to replace the floor. The problem about raising or lowering, this same area is found twice in the map (Beginning and ending) and is also found twice in the map previous to this map. And it is not only this spawn area, found it happening in another area, In fact, this one would be impossible to fix with raising or lowering for the room is just that complexly built, but I can move the spawn. And this problem is definitely caused by an update. Either wait for the next update to see if it fixes itself or take about 30 Mins to fix the spawn problems in each map area... I'd rather wait unless there is a way to fix the problem without changing the shape of the map.
But thanks for at least trying to help, even if they were things I already knew about. |

Yus there right. Change the height of the roof. If your game allows more than two people. And they all die? Theres no space. |

Sorry to say I think you entered the wrong map =P, the maps that are having the problem is The Escape Chapter I Anniversary, the others are actually not active for I am still making them. I noticed this for The Escape has gotten 2 more visits, but TEC1 Ann. has not been visited at all. But no worries, I did get into fixing the problem, Raised Some Roofs and Moved Some Spawns. The cause to this problem is unknown but I find my self spawning around 5 [distances] above the spawn, so there was how I was spawning above the roof (The roof was where the falling persons head should be, so it spawns them on top, for more explanation).
Next stop, Fixing the next map in the series... this is going to be a fun day (Sarcasm)...
I am also still hoping that Roblox does fix this "problem". (The Maps, to me, won't be the same with the changes) |

the only way I could stop spawning on roof was to uncheck cancolide in studio, does mean no one can stand on roof either though |

I had the same problem, but then I realized that the spawn wasn't actually working. I mean, it was just acting like a normal brick. So I put another one in and it worked. |
