You should be able to set how long a person in a group is banned. Maybe you would want a person to be unable to rejoin your group, or to be unable to be in it only for a certain period of time. Owners should be able to say the longest amount of time one can ban another from the group, though. And bans should be able to be lifted. There would also be a "banned users" list on the group admin page so you could see about bans.
CONS: Able to be abused. (SOLUTION: Bans can be lifted, and abusers can be punished by owners.)
TL;DR: People should be able to have more control over how long A person can be banned. Owners can restrict how long users with banning privileges can ban, and revoke bans.
