What I will suggest will make browsing for new hats a whole lot easier. As well as being categorised as a "Hat", each hat should belong to a subcategory. A few examples: • Hair • Cap • Glasses/Shades • Top Hat • Fedora • Visor • Egg As well as this, hats may be considered "Seasonal". That could be another thing, placed just above the hat description. Some examples of that, in case it wasn't self-explanatory: • 4th of July • Halloween • Christmas • Easter Now, when you go to the catalogue and go to "Hats", you can choose to browse by season or by hat type. Advantages: - Easier for a user to browse for a new purchase - Easy to see how many of a certain hat type exists - Can browse by season to know your outfit for then Disadvantages: - In some cases you may just be able to search "Cap" and obtain a lot of results so it could be argued by conservatives on roblox that we don't need this - Because of how many exist, this could be a hard job for the admins - Some hats may not have a clear category, or may belong to more than one TL;DR - Title is self explanatory Thoughts and further suggestions?

I like the idea. We already have genre hats, we should have hat types too. Support.

Thanks for all the support. The idea came to me as I was planning on saving up to buy hair, and actually getting to see all the types of hair at once seemed more if a hassle than it should be, idealistically. I haven't seen it suggested before, so sorry if it has. To me, it just looked like common sense, and too obvious an idea not to be put forward before. It may only make a small change to the website, compared with other things, but this would really advantage the community, especially those newer to the site and having difficulty figuring it out.

For example, I am looking for a new hair to save up for because, let's be honest, shaggy is more of a male hair. However, typing in "hair" does not display all the hairs in existence. Alternatively I decided to view all the hats in price order up to R$ 100, but that took more time to find hair than it could have done with this update. So I'm bringing back this thread in a hope that it stays more popular this time round.

Why be so lazy? Just search up in hats if you want fedora, type in fedora. No support because the catalog will have to put extra work in to it and its pretty pointless.

Did you even read what I said? Typing in "Fedora" does not bring all the fedoras up. And I'm saying it could be easier. I'm not being lazy. This is a forum for suggestions and ideas, and this could enhance the catalog by making it easier to use. They already have genres, why not categories? And what about the second half of the suggestion? Seasons? I guarantee you won't be successful typing in "Christmas" when it comes to results.

Just buy them when there are in the catalog... Most go off sale. And now roblox has more work to do for hats by putting them in catagories. What if one doesn't belong in one of them? Then they have to makes new one for just one hat. Example: Woo, we made a blanket hat, but wait! Which category does it go? -has to make new one- And be grateful we even have genres...

"just buy them" May I point out that I have R$ 20 and Tx 10? I can't afford every hat in the catalog, if that's what you're suggesting. And those that don't have an obvious category can either go to the nearest possible, or be classed as "other". Also, you're saying they won't have time for this? In that case, how about the roblox users vote on it just above the description? In honestly, if they see a suggestion they like they're going to have specific admins just to carry it out. But I would gladly like to organise the hats, and so there must be admins with the same opinion. If not, they could in theory let the users decide, but I doubt they would do that. And be thankful for genres? What do you mean by that? I have to be thankful for every update before I suggest a new one?

You just don't understand. Well, no wonder why you don't even have one page of hats...

*honesty, sorry, typo. And your basis for not supporting is based on whether we need it or not. We don't need any updates, just want them. That's the whole idea of S&I; admins get an idea from the people that play on what would enhance their experience. I'm not claiming we need this. We didn't need groups, but they made groups in 2009 to satisfy people. We didn't need hats, but they made hats in 2007 to add another aspect to the game. Now it's 2014, we have a whole lot of hats, and I personally would like some organisation to them.

I don't even have 1 page of hats because I made this account half a year ago and I am NBC. We can't just buy things in excess. But how does that reduce my knowledge? Tell me, how?

I never bought BC either.i am a NBC. I just give up. You don't seem to understand at all. But they won't put this in

Yes, but you're clearly more active, and you joined before. Most of your hats are from the Halloween event. I didn't have time to play that. And you're going about hoarding hats, whereas I'm going for specific hats. I do understand; because this won't benefit your hoarding, you don't want this. And how can you be sure they won't add this? Who made you an admin?

Would be much more easier than the current one, but there needs to be "Others" too for the domino crowns, noob attacks, etc.

"A few examples" - I am aware of the fact they don't include all, but they're common ones that came to mind. There would need to more than that.

Oh, right, sorry, I did. Again, the few examples thing. But yes, good point. Not all hats have a season.
