I have a lot of hats so It's quite hard to go through and find the hat I want to wear and It's quite time consuming. So why not add a search bar in your inventory to find stuff quick?

I completely agree with what your saying. %I support% Though this may just be overlooked :( I've been wanting things like this to be added to character section of roblox.

Support from me as well. I press "Next" and "Previous" way too many times to browse through my inventory.

Keep in mind you are the one that decided to own so many hats. So it up to you to go into your roblox closet(inventory) and get the hat you want. Otherwise you are basically making roblox your butler. Butlers aren't free. "Alfred, bring me my blue hat." Alfred, "Ok, that will be R$10 a week."

@The I'm not sure if you understand the concept of customer service. When a business provides a service, it should be easy for the customer to use and should include support.

"Keep in mind you are the one that decided to own so many hats. So it up to you to go into your roblox closet(inventory) and get the hat you want. Otherwise you are basically making roblox your butler. Butlers aren't free." the only person who would say that is someone who joined in 2013

Lol at that whole butler thing. That's like saying, "We made forums, but if you want to use forums you have to develop your own system because this one's ours" This is for suggestions and ideas that are supposed to make roblox generally easier. Roblox doesn't enforce manual labor. Hence this suggestion and idea section, to make things easier with less work for us. Do you not even bother to read the title of the forum category you click on, scroll through, then comment on?

@evil, who ever said this site comes with customized customer service? You can't expect them to do all the work for you. That would be lazy. @civil, I asked someone who joined 2 years ago, they agreed with me. @senior, close but not quite. It's more like they let you use it but you gotta do some of the work yourself. Just plain lazy to expect someone to spend hours programming to save you 10 seconds of time. People with roughly 60+ years of life left shouldn't complain about time. Just saying.

Shaun, this forum is for suggesting ways to make things easier/better for the general public of roblox. Not to make the roblox scripting team's job easier. That 10 seconds of time every single time you want to find something in your inventory can add up to much longer than it would take to create a search engine for your inventory. Especially when there are thousands of players online all wasting that time they could be enjoying themselves. It's not lazy when it's considered an innovation. Do you find cars to be lazy of humans? "Why should humans spend days designing cars when it would take just hours to walk somewhere?" It saves time in the long run. Are you against meteorology? I mean, the human race has survived long enough without it. It'd be lazy to develop a science to predict when storms were coming. People die all the time, we might as well save a few weeks of scientific development instead of saving thousands of lives overtime. These examples are, of course, drastic, but not exaggerated. Just irrelevant in ways. It's not being lazy when you're being innovative. When someone whines, "I don't wanna look through my inventory!" that's being lazy. When someone suggests, "We should add in a search bar to save time!" that's being innovative.

In the long run, it's better for kids to learn early to do some work themselves instead of everything being handed to them. Only a fool would argue against that.

No. What you're speaking of isn't hard work for kids. It's just a pest, an annoyance that kids have to suffer through while trying to enjoy a game. Only a fool would be so blind to think that clicking a button a few times teaches kids hardship. It's be a convenience for us to be able to search. Many people agree with that. It'd inconvenience much less people, if anyone, that it would be to make it that not make it. I don't see how this is hard to understand. It's as if you're not reading what I'm saying. You see that I posted something, guess what I probably said, and respond from there.

I see what you're saying and fully understand it. I still don't agree. Let me try this with bigger letters so maybe it will sink in better- IN THE LONG RUN IT IS BETTER FOR KIDS TO LEARN TO DO THINGS THEMSELVES INSTEAD OF IT BEING HANDED TO THEM. IT IS NOT TO TEACH HARDSHIP, IT IS TO TEACH INDEPENDENCE AND SELF RELIANCE. Also I noticed you was the first to speak up when I said only a fool would continue arguing against it. Just saying.

#113377748Thursday, September 19, 2013 4:19 AM GMT

Who made you the judge of fools? Clicking "next" doesn't teach them how to do things for themselves. In your logic, we should remove all search bars so that kids will learn how to scroll through an alphabetical list of names and games to find where they want to go. This doesn't teach independence in any way, it's literally an absurd thought to think that. No logic behind it. Nor self reliance. Using caps lock helps no one. That's like saying "shouting in an argument gets your point across better." You know, if you speak real quiet, people will lean in to try and hear what you say. That gives you the power, rather than yelling. When you yell, nobody cares. Whispering is when they wanna know what you're saying.

#113377954Thursday, September 19, 2013 4:24 AM GMT

Nope. If you whisper I would tell you to speak up or shut up. Complain all you want that not enough is handed to you but it would still be better that you learn to do things yourself. Too many spoiled kids these days. Besides, if you created the mess of hats you have then that's your own fault. Therefor should be your responsibility to correct.
