Hi again. Don't you hate it when you need to talk to someone who is in a full server? My suggestion is to be able to send a whisper to someone privately when they're in a game and you are not in their server. "Just invite to a party" you say? This would help a lot for people who get too engrossed in their game and forget to check back to the site once in a while (like me lol).
PROS: It would save a lot of time gathering LRs for a training and it would make it a lot easier. Also, you can get other people's attention when they are ingame and their server is full.
CONS: I can't think of any right now. If you think of one, please share it.
Support? Great!
No support? Please tell me what you think is wrong with this idea.
TL;DR, just read the title. |

I support, but I have one con:
People could whisper to a random person, annoying them constantly.
|
|
|
Maybe you could have an option to turn it off or on. |

So much spam would happen, for this issue just use a thrid party chat system. Such as Xfire |
|
|
lets say that a popular robloxian joins a casual game.... the amount of spam and lag that game would get would be tremendous. nice idea, should not be implemented. |
|
|
How about this: You should be able to turn ingame "whispers" on and off the online tab on the website. |

It would be easier for Roblox to just fix the party feature's ding sound. It works only half the time for me and sometimes the other person's message won't show up til I go to another page or reload the one I am on. This includes while in game too. |

no support.
would eat up a lot of bandwidth and pointless to.
just send them a pm. it would be hard to make too. |
|
|
Poke, this wouldn't be pointless. Read my ENTIRE idea. This would help a ton during raids and trainings. Sending PMs do no good. They're almost as ineffective as parties. PMs are for getting a message across, not when you need them NOW. |

Support,
this would be a great idea, if creators wanted it they could turn it on/off in the place settings, just like bubble and classic chat. and if users wanted it (and its turned on in the place their in) they could they also could set wether they wanted alerts from everyone, freinds, best friends, nobody. this would be handy for news alerts, raid stuff, friends telling you stuff.
great idea!

One con is this:
Imagine you're at some shooter or Ultimate Power or a game that requires concentration.
You're about to land a killing blow or evade something, you get distracted from the ingame invite, you die or miss.
Could be solved by making the thing optional and careful placing of the message.
Otherwise, support. |
