Okay, so basically in this idea you can insert 'gravity bricks'. For example, you have a moon. If you wanted to walk under the moon, you cannot unless you go and toy around with the physics. Buuuut there's more to this! You could insert a gravity brick, which would be a yellow transparent brick that is only visible in edit mode and players can walk through it, the thing is, when you go on it directs you to the center of its gravity. So like you could put a ball in mid air, then have a larger gravity brick around it. The instant you touch it (even if you only put a sliver of your head on the gravity brick, you get flipped over and stand on the ball thing. for example it would be like this http://www.roblox.com/diagram-thingy-item?id=130129106 (might still be loading or deleted) i hope that it makes sense probably will get dissed but whatever

Do you mean something like Super Mario Galaxy? Because if so I would so support, even if it's scriptable.

Good idea, but it would have to be more complex; what would happen if more that one gravity brick is inserted? If the player isn't touching one of the gravity bricks, which is he/she to be pulled to? ~ Don't make someone a PRIORITY if they only make you an OPTION. (@AwkTheBlockHead) ~

Yeah, like on super mario galaxy how you can go all across the planet without falling.

Multiple gravity bricks would probably just make you float (like with magnets i guess), and when you are not touching a gravity brick it just like switches to the default roblox gravity.

>Good idea, but it would have to be more complex; what would happen if more that one gravity brick is inserted? If the player isn't touching one of the gravity bricks, which is he/she to be pulled to? There is more than one celestial body. They have different masses. The masses determine the strength of the gravity, so the heavier that object is, the stronger its gravitational pull. The Sun is so much larger than the planets; that's why it has taken them into the solar system. It should work like it works in real life. If you get close enough to the Earth, you are pushed down to it and you stay on the ground. However, if you went to Jupiter, the gravity would be stronger and it would reach further so you will fall really fast. Jupiter is made of gas; you would go right through it, die, and your corpse will travel to the core. The Sun is so big that masses with their own gravity are being pulled by its gravity! Imagine that.

thanks C: bump. I don't think this can be scripted the way it works however.

I think this is a great idea. It IS script-able, but it'll enable users to form space games easily. Just think: How many of those games like Galaxy Wars have you seen?

Tons, on the first page. But I've never seen any scripted like Galaxy Wars. Instead, they use an egg mesh or something like that for the planet, and put a baseplate inside of it.

well, whatever. i'll close the voting on this if it did get implemented, it would just shatter all of the skilled scripters' work.
