I agree with this 101%. And here's why.
ROBLOX used to be fun. Now, people are quitting. ROBLOX, it's not going to stop copiers. People will still copy. But they won't buy copied stuff. Most people can't buy ANYTHING now. I seriously don't want to waste 300 Tix on a Virtual Shirt or Virtual Pants. Not everyone can buy more Robux. This is really pointless. What about group uniforms? Fashion groups? How are they suppose to help support the group if they don't have 300 Tix or 25 Robux?!

Omg, were just kids. why is ROBLOX trying to scam kids? I'm seriously going to quit ROBLOX and take all of my friends with me, and move to wiz 101 or minecraft. Like really, ROBLOX? Is money all you care about? I'm tired of ROBLOX nowadays, its so annoying. Like once you are a nbc again, ROBLOX completely ignores you. you don't mean anything. I knew something like this was going to happen. Ever since they came out with "Pay-to-Play". Nuke the whales used to be my favorite game. Now i have to pay to play it. I've never paid to play it, though. I bet if Erik Cassel was still here, nothing like this would have ever happened. I am going to quit forever and completely quit ROBLOX if this goes on. We are just kids. ROBLOX, your greedy. I hate you, David Shedletsky. You are the most hated person I know right now. I wish i'd never found this stupid site.

I agree.. But ROBLOX isn't gonna care. If this gets out of hand they'll just delete the tread. They don't know how to fix problems, they'll just cause more. We just have to deal with it now, or fight a hundred times harder. Sorry this might seem rude.. But I'm just trying to tell you the truth.

Why are there so many threads like this? The price floor is a bit irritating, but considering how ROBLOX hasn't even hit double digit millions yet, and the increasing demand of ROBLOX, consider how much capital that is consuming. I bet in a few years, this game just might go big. I'd agree with everyone here then. |

I'd say that buying is one of the essentials.
It's an essential to every game.
ROBLOX advertises its customization options as much as its building options.
I'd say, if this is really the case, don't advertise buying if it isn't one of the "essentials."
Because that could be a reason why people come. And if you make their expectations that big, then they won't be too happy with what they see.
I would say a big reason for the price floor is the growing inflation problem.
A big reason there is no refunds in ROBLOX is to control inflation.
If there's no refunds then your money disappears off of the face of ROBLOX once you spend it. And that allows more to be added into the system.
The reason this is the case (goldfishmemories told me this on his thread: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=136648410) is because they sell their currency for real life money, which limits the amount of they can put into circulation and also forces the amount they need to take out.
I think there reason is BS, too; they should flat out say this is to control inflation. They're not fooling anyone.

If this were added, inflation wouldn't exist and price floor would not need to exist, nor would Trade Currency be messed up or any of that jive. |
