Hello! I am here to talk about the issue of advertising on ROBLOX. Not the user created ads, but the third party ads in general. It seems that the roblox site is filled with ads inappropriate to your kid friendly site. I know you're company needs the money but how about instead of using ad deals with wartune or other adult oriented sites why not use ads from more kid friendly sites. Thanks, Bloxadventure

None of their ads are actually explicit, only suggestive. Younger players won't understand and they will probably just browse past ads older people would see as inappropriate. And how come you guys don't have some sort of ad blocker? You can get one for every modern browser, not just Chrome.

I support the removal of the ads for as historian said is is suggestive material. But I still find the ad not appropriate for children under the age of 13.

Ads are based off your search history. I'd recommend searching into that one if you have any siblings, because it could prove interesting, if you haven't view certain sites yourself. I've never viewed any ads from that site, but I don't believe they should allow inappropriate ads to be viewed on this site, so support.

Roblox: Do not upload any inappropriate images David Baszucki: Yeah right, I am the founder. I am going to spam roblox with wartune's advertisments. Eventhrough it has inappropriate stuff on it. Who will care? I am the dang founder. -Troll Approved since 200 B.C

1) Adverts can be reported. 2) They're done through Google AdSense the last time I looked, which displays adverts based on what you search, the website you visit and the context of the page (all together). If you're seeing inappropriate adverts, then it's due to what you've been searching or the websites that you have been visiting. Report them however.

I've haven't seen the ad on here (because I'm OBC). But I know Wartune, it's an MMO (massively multiplayer online). It's a medieval game, pretty boring though. [CHAT SCROLLING HERE!] http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=114192555

It's true that Google gives you ads based on what you searched, but that doesn't mean you're searching anything inappropriate, people. It just knows you play a lot of games, and game ads happen to have a lot of those type ads. just deal with it.

Let me explain some things to you on how ads work on sites, sites pay google to promote their site by running google ads, roblox has the choice of what ads come up on their site based on search history, roblox gets payed by the third party companies for the hits, all is well. But based on that they can also control the amount of times a specific ad runs if it gets enough hits... Sure you can report an ad but it generally gets replaced by a new one. This further supports that you can block ads off of a site. Just sayin.

It's ironic how there's a Wartune advertisement while looking at this thread the third time. And not EVERYONE has adblock. ~ Do you want to see the Rabbits David? ~
