Great idea. If you make a long brick and then add PointLight to it the ends won't emit light. This will solve the case and it is not a useless idea.

support if i knew how to make bricks go like rockets using protertie basic objects and stuff i would make the bottom brick's bottom surface glow to simulate propulsion, and maybe but not surely, fire |

Support with emiting light off all the surfaces of the brick and choosing which surfaces emit light. It would be cool.

No.
We have PointLight, and SpotLight.
PointLight makes the light at the center of an object.
SpotLight sends light in a sort of cone-shape off of any side of a brick.
Glowing would be where the brick emits light off of its surfacing, thus, causing a glowing effect. |
