"I'd like to be a scout, if I can, sir." You say to the Captain.
"Granted Lieutenant, take Recovv and Takenhda with you. You'll need support. I want you and your team to scout out the German advance. I need to know where they are coming from, what kind of equipment they have, and how much firepower they have." -Your Captain
You begin to walk on as two Privates join you. You walk out of the 'gate' as troops in your Regiment call it, guarded by 50 Troops. You begin walking into the unsafe, dangerous, and desolate wasteland of houses. Previous bombardments have made this a death field, and you don't like it any more then the other troops. You have a few choices, once you get out of the gate.
A. Move up to your right flank to see if anyone is attacking that flank
B. Move up to your left flank to see if anyone is attacking that flank
C. Continue straight on
D. Pause and take shelter in a house and try to look for any enemy troops from the high point |

You quickly run into the house, followed by your privates. One guards the door, and one guards the staircase. You walk up to the 2nd floor and look out a window. You can't make out anything at first, but you eventually come to see a bit of gray in the whiteness of Stalingrad. The gray of a German uniform. You see about 4 Germans, 2 in a trench and 2 next to a light artillery piece.
A. Ask one of the privates to snipe the Germans
B. Get down out of the house and continue on cautiously
C. Try to get a better view
D. Tell your privates to sneak up on the Germans and attack them |

You mutter a few words to the privates. One of them says he has a Scoped rifle, so he comes up the stairs. He takes aim at the window, and fires. His first shot misses, but his second shot takes out a cry of anguish from the Germans. 2 of the Germans are now advancing on you, and 1 is staying in the Trench, and one died from the shot. You have to do something.
A. Barrier yourself up in the house and get ready to hold the Germans off in the house
B. Exit the house and run away into cover
C. Run out of the house and attack the Germans straight on
D. Hide in the house (Attic, basement, etc) |

You get ready to hold the Germans off in the house. Both privates rush to the door and pull over some furniture for cover. You, on the other hand, get on the staircase behind the wall. You here the shouts of some Germans as they approach. Only two, and you have cover, so you should take them out easily. But they are more trained. The shouts get closer, and then they stop. You here breaths at the door, from the Germans. You and the privates are a good deal away from the doorway, but still you are close. Then one of them shouts something, and they rush in. Immediately, one of the Germans falls from a soldier's fire. But then, on of your own privates are shot, but not killed. Then you snipe the last German. You rush over to the private, inspecting his wounds. He was badly wounded but not killed.
A. Pull out your first aid and attend him
B. Carry him back to base
C. Leave him be and tell him to suck it up while you go get help
D. Stay in the house and tell him to hang tight while you figure something out |

You pull out your first aid, which is not that good since the shortage of supplies for millions of men. So you pull out your first aid, and find a bandage. You pull it out and wrap it around the wound of the private, which is a shot to the hip. You notice the other private pulls out his first aid too and assists. Then you remember there is still one German in the trench. You have to eliminate him, but you can't let your comrade down. Then, the private starts calming down. He says it hurts less but he needs to get back to base for serious treatment.
A. Tell the uninjured private to take the wounded private to base
B. Tell him we have to continue on with him
C. Tell him to go back to base by himself
D. Tell him we need to stay here longer and make this a safe house, while you treat him you also scout in the house. |

The un wounded private carries the wounded private out the door and back to the base. Luckily, they don't get shot by the remaining German. Now your on your own.
A. Continue to snipe in the house
B. Rush out of the house and find cover
C. Attack the German straight on
D. Stay in cover inside the house and don't act |

You stay in your position, behind cover. You become lonely and a bit nervous after a while. Then the German stops shooting. You hear a few grunts, and footsteps. It seems he is coming up to the house.
A. Go outside of the house and attack him
B. Stay in your cover
C. Rush up to the 2nd floor

You stay. And suddenly, the grunts stop. You here some shifting around, and then it happens. The German goes into the doorway and attacks you, but you shoot him first. He lies wounded on the floor, not dead.
A. Shoot him and kill him
B. Steal some supplies from him and continue on
C. Try to keep him alive
D. Shoot him and move on |
