Hey guys, I am working on a game called Trapped. It is about escaping an underground complex, while keeping sane and healthy.
I plan for a few small obby courses in the game, only to get bonuses or make certain parts easier (at least for some people). They will be hard. I probably will only just be able to get past them myself to say it is beatable. (Note: I'm not very good at obbies, I just believe in beating my game before releasing it)
There will be elements of a horror game involved. I am including a trusty flashlight, and not-so-trusty batteries. The combat will be limited. One shot will be enough for any monster, but you might only get 1 shot from checkpoint to checkpoint. There will be a huge emphasis on point and click, you will need to pick up notes left by those who tried to escape, but failed, and learn their lesson before it is too late. I am working on including diseases, which will be healed by special items, as well as a rest mechanic and caused by: damage from various different monsters and your sanity.
You have one life, an your character has a somewhat random look to it. If you die, you lose everything, unless I get builders club and implement a game pass for some type of persistent item.
I need ideas on how to make this a multiplayer game, so players have to actually interact. (I have a custom chat UI for guests, don't worry about them).
The game will be hard, for those who have been playing a minute and more so for those who have been playing for an hour.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I plan to release a tech demo by this friday if you are interested. |
