I'm pretty sure this has been done before...
I've been working on this for a while now. It's currently a GUI Type thing but i'm wondering about converting it to go into your Backpack... It has the ability to play 2 Games properly currently... Pokemon Red, and Tetris... There is no color, sound, saves, or multiplayer... I'm planning on uploading it once this forum post becomes popular so that way it won't be copied, even though, I'm not the father of this idea, but I've looked around for other ones and I couldn't find any, that worked atleast. Either way I've been working on this for a month, and it's finally working... It runs 40% On a dual-core laptop.
And you must realize the Gameboy is not Gameboy Color, Or Gameboy advanced. It's the original. |

My bad I meant its the gameboy color, I went inactive after posting this due to my friends no longer being on, so I only need 40 more views until I upload this because I want to make sure that I'm the first to make this. So yeah |

No. Why? Because, you can A) Not upload any roms to Roblox and B) Do not know how to decode these 'roms' even if you could upload them. Which is why this is fake. |

You can not upload Rom's directly into Roblox, but if you change there format and make a working emulator, You can easily import it into roblox using scripts and GUI. |

Hold up I've reached more then 100 Views, I was only having it set up to make it where once 100 people see that I'm the original and I'm the first too make the emulator, (Which I know will end up getting stolen) It shall be uploaded to my new computer by Late tonight, and then I'll upload it. At which then I also am planning on working on a DS emulator, although... I doubt that so hard. |

Except no. You can not compile the ROM to ARM Assembly on roblox. Also LOL NO. You can not just import what the rom contains to scripts because A) They're programmed in C++ lua and the Roblox Engine do not allow you to program roblox in C++. |

I Originally found out that there is a LUA powered Gameboy in Gary's mod, and it can only play Pokemon And Tetris, simmilar to mine. I've already said it contains a few bugs and now I've realized that since I got a new computer, my brother took my old laptop and reformatted the Hard Drive. I did not upload any of it due to me thinking someone would steal it. I will give away how it was originally made, I used Gary's Mod Gameboy mod to find out how to set up one, and it took a whole month. So if you want to find out how you're going to need to make a new emulator and if you search up Gary's mod there is are two text files. Then after downloading you can directly Import files to Roblox, The other part though takes a whole bunch of scripting and recreating. Also I am going to apologize sincerely that this got deleted from my laptop, and I assure you someone shall make a new one soon now that new information has been uploaded.
If you ever need help with the scripts I'll be happy to help.

I really hope someone finishes this project, and I'll explain what happened to my files, but you probabably won't believe me, but for those who aren't stupid...
I was looking on sites and found something on a Garry's Mod Forum that said "Lua Gameboy" I thought this was Roblox though so I jumped straight in and looked at the scripts. Some of it wasn't compattible with Roblox, but I found the what you could say was the ROM's , and I converted a bunch of files, including where the scripts would go to, and where the ROM directory would be, Which I set it to be a block full of 2 Roms. Those 2 Roms were the only roms on the "LUA Gameboy" Forum, I continued my research to only find that there were serious lag issues and saves weren't implemented. So if anyone wants to start with that, Just find a site with stuff like that, it should lead you to a bunch of documents, Download those and Import them in to ROBLOX Studio, I'm too lazy to do it again it took a while, But I will go ahead and upload the scripts that need to be updated to be ROBLOX Compatible into my Models, When I get a chance and the Pokemon Blue and Red, I hope someone finishes this project. ...
Now to explain why I lost all of these files, I asked my mom to buy me a new computer for Christmas as my current computer was a Windows 7 Laptop with less then a GB of RAM. (Not that most people here will know what that is unless they play other games). So my brother got the Laptop and I got a HP Pavillion p2 PC and my brother ended up with the Laptop. My Older Brother thought it had more lag issues then he should have and wiped the drive, Turns out there was a virus on it. So yeah, I sacraficed my Emulator for a new computer cause I didn't upload models in the fear of hackers obtaining all of my work but now i'm too lazy to do it myself and I'm leaking my work.
