A lot will be going on in this new strategy game I'm developing. (Don't bother playing at this current state, all I have is some GUI work) I'll give you guys some info on the game, and you can tell me what I'm missing and should add.
Firstly, the explanation of the game. The point is to upgrade your HQ to it's highest potential, as well as protect it in a manor of your choice from enemy attacks. You are also to expand your nation by building elsewhere, now take note, there is no specific location for you to build your forts. You must just keep in mind that the map size itself is limited, and strategic placement is key. If you just want one big headquarter and no fort, then that is fine. It's solely your choice. There will be a maximum limit on forts, but not on buildings per fort or HQ. The animations in the game won't be too advanced, and will only have representations of battle. No real units are visual, like tanks and planes. They will, however, be represented by different shapes.
Your second goal, aside from expansionism, is to have a rule over the world. There will be no dual victories. If you and your ally "win" a round, the strongest nation will be pronounced victor. However half a victory point will be given to the allies you are with.
There will be a limit of 3 allies per player, and their allies don't need to have an alliance with each other as well. This serves as a formation of teamwork or conflict building behavior.
Alongside alliances, there will be peace treaties (with a time limit until they can be dissolved), and the ability to declare an official enemy. This way, you can filter who specifically to attack.
I plan for funds to be realistic. A two million dollar plane will cost two million dollars. However, being realistic, a government can afford to pay that. No your funds won't be endless, but it won't be a challenge to soup up a few million or billion dollars to pay for expansion.
This is meant to be an intensive thinking strategy game. Please give me suggestions! Thank you for reading.

And I'm terribly sorry for contextual or grammatical errors. It was 11:00 and I had already gone numerous hours practicing for speech and debate, as well as theatre. So my mind was essentially numb.

Im Liking the GUI Mechanics. However you should add a build system before adding a 'bump' to this post again.
Or at the very least the ChatLog. |

Alright, alright. It's not a contest. Anywho, my bumping is to see what features I should add that I haven't included before I get too sucked in to developing all of what I already do know I want.
