I'm asking this because my friend's limited was taken by a bot which sucessfully took the limited item BEFORE it was desplayed in the webpage, as we had 4 computers ( 2 from one country and another two from another country) refreshing the webpage constantly.
So yeah, In most games, 3rd party software for farming any kind of currency (Gold, Points, Dinnar, Robux, Tickets whatever you want to call it) is an unfair act and punishable.
Bots are known for ruining online games.
So, What is a limited sniper bot?
It's a computer logged in a certain roblox account (third party software), constantly logged in, seeking for a limited hat/face/gear collectibles price database waiting until someone decides to sell cheaper (significantly cheaper, when someone puts the item for sale, it triggers and automatically purchases it BEFORE it is displayed on the webpage.
Is it fair?
No.
My final question is, Is this legal on roblox?

Don't set your item to some ludicrously low price then? Simple. Before, if I'm not mistaken, ROBLOX takes the item off of you if the price is low enough. |

This was a trade between friends. He expected to be able to "give me" the item (lets say, put it for 10 robux? idk.) I'm NBC, I would buy BC to do the trade if at least BC cards were for sale where I live. My parents do not own any Credit cards.
The only prepaid thing I can buy is Paysafecard, which unfortunately is not a valid payment method for roblox.

My friend went to the sales/purchases history and found a guy with a "Noob" avatar, no hats default look, no shirts.
That noob had over 20 riptitides, over 50 Egg on your face faces, 1 Fawkes face, lots of katanas and craps. Plus, That "Noob" has more alternative accounts. Each one with the same amount of limiteds if not even more.
This means:
1 guy --> 8 accounts (known, there can be more) --> All of them with regular BC --> Each one of them with more than 100 limited items (Repeated) --> 100 x 8+ = 800+ Limiteds, He has limiteds of 50-3000 ROBUX --> Huge profit for his main account.
He had with ease, over 100k in his alt.
He had on his profile.

It is illegal as far as I know, although it is hard to prove.

If they are not legal, Why the hell do they still exist, Why isn't roblox banning them even when they admit their acts?
ffs ROBLOX cares more about how the game looks like than the gameplay experience itself.
Updates animations, Shadows, Physics, Only to look better..

Yet, over 100 accounts on roblox (Hopefully not more) use third party software to snipe cheap limiteds. |

Buy all the limiteds of a type
Sell them for max price
BOOM WE ARE RIIIHIIICH |

The snipebot guy goes bankrupt because he realizes his bots had bought a max priced limited.
The person who did this splits the money with us
And we get a BC'er to make a group to continue our plots to kill the bots.
