Moving the Notficiations to a less inconspicuous place

Lots of people read their messages, and learn about new things through the blog. A fee of them get info on new stuff through their notifications, but not many. I really think the notifications bar should be in a place where people will see it. The notifications usually give information about new gears and hars, which people are always trying to buy if it is limited. Just a suggestion :)

Possibly the place people check the most, maybe a small box next to the messages box

People would check their homepage the most, and thats where the notification is. Right under your avatar, it shows a blue writing (0) Notifications.
