What if:
You could just upload an image of your character with a model or pose?
You could make the image allowed for a profile picture as big as a thumbnail image for a place, or even include a cover photo(FB example)
You could pay a small amount, lets say 20-25 robux for a custom image, or select an option to display via the current method.
It could be reviewed as an image, and would make A LOT of players happy.
-They could pose in a car, on a plane, in a spaceship, or out at sea.
-They could pose with an object, like a guitar, sword, or other weapon
-They could pose with a couple friends, with a group logo, or place
The options would allow some creativity; developers of popular games could pose with their models or maps, and graphic artists would go wild.

This sounds pretty swell overall, though I'd prefer us to just be able to choose from preset poses or even create our own. To be able to upload images would mean we'd see custom backgrounds. I'm partial to a seemingly transparent background behind the images of individual characters. |

It could be reviewed like an image, to streamline the process, and it would replace the idea of making a separate place to hold your profile picture.
