Please read this ENTIRE post so I don't have to repeat it. HEY ALL YOU ROBLOXIAN PILOTS!!!!! WHO WANTS TO BE THE BEST PILOT IN ROBLOX!?!?!?!?!? I am setting up a contest in the game Dynamic Flight SimulatorV2.0 by simcityweegee. It will be at the New Port island, with three courses. I will be at the game at some point during the day tomorrow, 11/28. I will post on the forum if there is a change in the time, but I will probably be in the game from 8:00-10:00 EST. The first course will consist of flying the beige plane located at Jacksonville, the spawn airport. Players will fly a figure 8 around the island. Here are the steps for the first course: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COURSE 1: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) Players will take off from a runway and climb to 500 ft, where they will level out and make a u-turn to the right so their plane is flying parallel to the runways but on the other side of the buildings. YOU MUST MAINTAIN 500 FT OR HIGHER THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE COURSE, And do not turn during the climbout! 2) After flying the length of the island, players will make another u-turn to the right so they are now flying over the runways. Do not land! 3) The players will then make a u-turn, this time to the left. It's basically the reverse of the first step. 4) After flying the length of the island, players will make another u-turn to the left, and descend to the runway in a landing. Do not descend below 500 ft until you have cleared the buildings! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other notes for Course 1: In order to save time, in Step 4, instead of descending slowly, you will most likely have to dive at a steep angle to reach the ground quickly as well as turning to face the runway. This is a risky move, so use your judgement. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COURSE 2: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) Players will fly the Concorde along the same path as Course 1, except the minimum altitude is 1500 ft. Remember, you cannot turn during the climbout. 2) As in Step 4 of Course 1, you will have to make a diving turn because of the height. You will be diving longer and faster this time, so I would recommend practicing beforehand. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COURSE 3: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Again, this is basically the same path as courses 1 and 2, except: 1) You will fly the jet fighter located at the aircraft carrier southeast of Jacksonville. This is very fast, so take caution. 2) There is no minimum height level. 3) Instead of making a u-turn to the left and flying along the buildings in Step 3, you have to fly between the buildings. Be careful, as the fighter is only just small enough to fit through the trenchlike formation created by the buildings. Also, at the end of the trench, there is a building directly in front of you. You will have to fly straight up to avoid this building. In short, this course is very difficult. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OTHER NOTES FOR THE ENTIRE GAME: )In Courses 1 and 2, you can crash twice before you are disqualified. You can crash three times before this happens, because Course 3 is very hard to complete. )This is not a race with everybody flying at the same time, but rather you will be timed. Your "flight time" is from the moment both your wheels leave the ground to when both touch the ground. Your final flight time will be the average of the times from each of the three courses. )I will be hovering over the island in a helicopter to watch you fly the course and make sure you are not breaking any rules, i.e. flying below the minimum height for more than 1 second. )Next to my computer I have a timer, and I will draw up a chart to record each player's stats. This will ensure accuracy in them. )At the end of each course, I will state each player's time. )When landing, please don't jump out of your plane, or purposely crash at any time. I don't have time to get another plane every 5 seconds. Any player that does this will be disqualified. )When I start the tournament, I will do a pace lap with all of you in helicopters, in case my directions were not clear and/or you are not familiar with Dynamic Flight Simulator V2.0. )If you have any questions whatsoever, *please* ask. I would not want anybody to be confused. )To ensure that everyone gets into the same game, wait until I post on this thread that I am in-game. When that happens, go to my profile (http://www.roblox.com/User.aspx?ID=35095859) and follow me. )In-game before the tournament starts, I will give everyone a quick review of the rules and guidelines. )I may ask you for some help, i.e. going and getting another plane. This will be a big help in making the game to go more smoothly for everyone. )Between 1 and 3 players are required for the tournament to work. I cannot handle meeting the needs of more than 3 players at once, and I will be playing, so I only need one player to make this work. THE FIRST 3 PEOPLE TO POST THE WORDS "I'm in!" BEFORE 8:00 A.M. EST, THURSDAY NOVEMBER 28 WILL BE SELECTED. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. If no players register, I will move the whole thing forward one day unless anything prevents me from doing so. I may also be holding multiple tournaments if some players registered but didn't get to play. Again, please come to this thread for info on what's going on. )Above all, please be patient with me, from me going and getting another plane to me having to leave the game for a time for whatever reason. Obviously, if I am going to be away for a long time, you will not have to stay and wait for me. If I'm away for that long, I will post on this forum when I'm ready. Then, I will wait 15 minutes in-game before I resume the tournament. However, if I am leaving for 15 minutes or less, I will ask you to wait in-game for me and stay in the same general area. )IF YOU WIN: You will get a friend request from me, and I would give you 100 tix, but I don't know how to do that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for your cooperation, and I hope to see you at the tournament tomorrow. Thank you for reading this thread! —Livefree75

Update: I may be able to do the tournament tomorrow. If nobody registers for this, I am not doing it at all. I hope that didn't sound mean. :)
