No. This post is a CLEAR voice in the community.
Do you not realize how simple, but awesome ROBLOX was back then? Back when the main focus of the game was to actually build something creative to gain popularity?
Back when Clockwork, Telamon, and Builderman were active?
Back when the first square studs were introduced (can't say circle studs; that gives Lego a motive to sue)
Back when the admins had more user interaction?
Back when the builderman trailer with the office building and the brickbattle was popular?
.........All of that's changed.
New outlines, rendering glitches, new textures, new animations, updated physics engine... They're what's driving most of us true Veterans away!
Now the majority of the community is composed of young middle schoolers / elementary schoolers that are blinded by the unceasing updates of ROBLOX.
If the ROBLOX team could do us true Veterans a favor; please bring back the old ROBLOX. Just for a little while? We miss the old ROBLOX, as it has helped develop our loyalty and passion for building and scripting
All because of the vintage ROBLOX.

If the ROBLOX team does revert back to the old ROBLOX for a litle while, this is certainly acceptable:

But i do know the old ROBLOX a hell of a lot better than 90% of the new community.

As much as I too love simplicity and nostalgic feelings, ROBLOX is much better now. The problems now on ROBLOX are just community problems, which if ROBLOX opened up an 'old ROBLOX' for a while, the issue would just go over there too. |

Do you mean "evolved" as in:
1. Screwing up the CFraming with outlines,
2. More free models to make a game popular,
3. Revising the new animations that make old computers lag more? (personal experience, chap),
4. Admins not really taking in the opinions of the users (WTF ARE UNIVERSES NOW??),
5. Buggy Roblox Studio that sometimes messes up a part's X, Y, and Z values at times,
6. GODFORSAKEN PRICE FLOORS,
above all,
7. A premature community????

I also know the good things that evolved ROBLOX:
1. ROBLOXian 2.0 (more realistic look than 3.0),
2. Water (finally a material that can make u float without scripts),
3. Actual wedges (No Wedge mesh to make me float cX),
4. First new GUI to make it more compact

Outlines have evolved to the point where you can apply them to even individual faces of the brick. This is not an issue for those who wish to CFrame.

Free models are not necessarily to make a game popular. On top of that, the games page has in fact improved to a point where all or most of the games there have no (or next to no) free models. Therefore, the issue of free models being exploited is a smaller issue than it was before.

I lag too. My computer is also five years old though. ROBLOX being an online game and all, they need to keep up with the times. People with new computers want what their computer can handle, and that is exactly what ROBLOX is doing. For those with old computers, it is unfortunate, but they must deal with the performance issues they will experience.

I want you to list all the many updates you've seen recently that were not asked for. I've asked many other people to do this, only to see that anything most of them can think of was, in fact, suggested by the community. This includes the price floors even. Funny how everyone complains about it now. With a community that cannot be satisfied even when they get what has been asked for, what is ROBLOX supposed to do to make the community happy?

People have always complained about ROBLOX studio. There's always bugs, but, the bugs that were complained about years back are no longer an issue. We now have new bugs that people use as their argument as to why ROBLOX studio is 'terrible.' ROBLOX is always updating and with that, you must expect bugs to come with these updates. If you take a look at video games, most or all of them have a bug somewhere. Whether it causes issues with the player or not, they are there, and weren't taken out, despite that the company had the chance to remove them before the game was released. Testing for bugs just isn't as easy as it may seem.

Might wanna take this one up with those who suggested it years back. I believe it was in 2011. If not, 2012. I hate the price floors, but they aren't here without reason.

They would move over to this 'old ROBLOX' that is being suggested, as I said in an earlier post in this thread. ROBLOX can't do anything about this. As long as a user abides by ROBLOX's rules, they are here to stay. |

This IS old roblox. That is in 5 years (if roblox exists). The new roblox is an upgrade. Making "old" roblox will just remove some clothing and gear and worse animation and graphics. |

There's a few I can think of that im sure no one thought of:
Textures (Why does the plastic look like polystyrene?)
New Studs (werent the first square studs good enough to avoid being sued?)
Physics (why should ROBLOX be so realistic when it's a building sandbox?) |

@blake Thats when Roblox Started. Its popularity increased during '07 and '08. I still remember the 12.7 Mb download file :p. Ive seen and used the first UI. The only thing different from when i joined and how it was in '06 was the studs, BC, R$ and tix, and animation |

no no no! My god it's fricken nostalgia. Deal with what is going on. Basically veterans leave and stay. And no, many veterans won't be here for a long time anyways. You're supposed to move forward, not backwards!
Secondly, the community has GROWN. Not gotten worse. But it maybe still bad. Just saying it has gotten more mature. |

It's nostalgia, as has already been said, and also, it's rose glasses.
The old ROBLOX won't be what you remember. It's like when you watch a cartoon as a kid, and then stop watching it. When you're older, you remember that cartoon as "good, with amazing special effects", and all that, but when you go back and watch something from it, you realize you're remembering wrong. |

At least old ROBLOX was the "building block" of this ROBLOX... If ROBLOX were able to hold another website with just the Old ROBLOX, including Client and Roblox Studio, that would make my life happy. (I have the old Roblox Studio btw.) |

2007 roblox < 2008 roblox < 2009 roblox < 2010 roblox < 2011 roblox < 2012 roblox < 2013 roblox.
The only thing that has gotten worse is the community, something that cannot be solved by going to 2007. |
