"Ooooooo was it 'explictttt?' Melicore, tell me what it was!" Shaking Melicore's arm, the Guardian of Punishment brushed him off with a glare. "An epic by Homer."
"...An inappropriate epic by Homer?"
"Oh, shoo."
"But you hid it so quickly!" |
Ashe yawned, covering her mouth with her hand before sitting on the staircase railing. She smiled as she took out a pair of black square-framed glasses and stuck them on her face, sliding down the railing afterwards. The beast girl eventually reached the end of her little 'trip.' She hopped off, hurrying to the kitchen to grab an apple, and then rushing to the front door of her castle. "Another adventure at last~!" |
immediately after Ashe had left her castle, Spice had stopped harassing Melicore to turn to her. "Yo!" Running forward, he opens his arms wide and raises an eyebrow.
"Accept or nay?"
(I'm leaving for the rest of the week doodle-pie. srry. ;^o) |
Ashe blinked, tilting her head and pushing her glasses up in consideration. Averting her head back to its original position after a while, she stepped forward.
"Accept."
[ no, daichi bby. don't leave me. ;-; ] |
(Oh ma gawd! Why!! Why did I find it so late? Gah. I really want to join!) |
Winking, he opens his arms wide and give her a hug. "Nice. Also, I just wanted to make sure you are ready to come with us to Egypt. Melicore won't bother you anymore either by the way, when he came back, I kicked him in the teeth, an' now he has a big old bruise on his cheek. Haha!" |
[Few, drafting up a CS now...) |
"You didn't have to kick him for that, Spice. He did nothing wrong." Ashe said, raising her hands and shaking them as she laughed nervously. "Besides... A certain someone told me a wonderful story last night, so I think I'm okay now." The beast girl smiled a little. |
"Oh reaaaaaallly?" Spice asks, setting both hands on his cheeks and blinking quickly with his widened black eyes. "Well, ain't that just fluffy cats and candy canes!" Terrah and Melicore had walked up at that moment. The Guardian of Punishment spoke first.
"We should leave." Indeed, Spice's words had been true. Across Melicore's face was a blueish bruise that looked awful against his frail and sickly pale skin. |
Ashe smiled, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose. "Alrighty then~!" She said with her hands dropping and clasping behind her back. It appears that her horns and tail had seemingly vanish. A possible trickery magic from her rose? The beast girl had fallen silent, with her eyes observing Meli's bruise. Huh. |
Disregarding the beast girl almost entirely, Melicore turned to lead the way. Terrah followed behind, next, a giddy Spice who gestured for Ashe to come. |
Ashe grinned, trailing after the Guardian trio with no more words to say. She was busy recollecting what Keith had told her yesterday about them all. |
"And so it begins~" Spice says in a dramatic way, walking alongside Ashe as the foursome left the grounds of the Beast's castle. He looks to her with pursed lips, giving her a slight nod. "Of course, you won't try and fight if Kaine goes against us, right? I know you already agreed, but I can't shake the feeling that something bad'll happen if I don't review the topic." |
"'Course not." Ashe replied as she glanced over at Spice, peering at him through her glasses. "I'm not that stupid, am I?" She continued with a slight head tilt, "Wait... Don't answer that." Her teeth sunk down into her bottom lip, the beast girl saying no more. |
Spice's eyes grow wide, and he shakes his head to Ashe. Seeming appalled, he awkwardly set his hand behind his head and turned away. "Hey now... why would I ever call you stupid and actually mean it? You don't think i'm that type of person, do you? Ya don't need to shy away..." |
Ashe twitched, and blinked her eyes twice. "I don't, Spice.. It's just that so much has been going on in my mind lately. I'm still trying to gather myself from yesterday in both the Vortex and what happened in my room." She said softly as she averted her eyes, the dark circles only seeming to get darker. |
"What's been going on in your room?" Spice echos questionably. |
Ashe nearly stopped in her tracks from the question. "I... I met someone last night." |
"Yes.. I have a feeling you know him." |
Spice frowned, shaking his head and pulling his arms behind his mess of blood red hair. "Ashe, ashe. You know I'm not good at riddles. It wasn't Meli or Terrah, and I have no idea why Kaine would talk to you, even out of boredom. Stellance is outta the question, and there is my grand total of... four WHOLE acquaintances. Not including you in that counting of course, you're a friend." |
Ashe smiled, placing her index finger to her lips. "He told me all about you, Meli, and Terrah..." She said softly. Her finger dropped from her lips, with her other fingers twitching. "There's someone else, Spice. You know this person... I know you do. That's a hint." |
(Sorry doodle, ilazy<3)
Spice groaned loudly, turning back to the road in front of them in out-most silence.
Melicore stopped suddenly, looking ridged. Spice almost crashed into him, but peered over his shoulder, and gasped.
Melicore, on the other hand, looked absoluley furious with the item that was in front of the group. |
