Well I think that they were one of the best, but my favorite would either be 'Rage against the Machine', 'Alice in Chains', or 'Pearl Jam'.

Haha. Yeah, the 90's were a time of great music... To think that only ten years later, we have the Hip/ Hop and Pop crap that dominates the charts... ugh. It kinda hurts to think that the consumers in the music industry could have SUCH a huge change of heart in only a decade. Of course, its also the voice of the next generation, but it hurts to know that people would rather listen to Kanye West, then 'Smells like Teen Spirit', or 'Sea of Sorrow', by the great grunge bands.

It's hard to say. Nirvana was amazing, but my favorite 90's bands would either be Pantera or Death.

Metal wasn't the best in the 90's, 90's was the rock/rap and grunge, mostly grunge age. i think the metal age was in the 80's somewhere, think about it a ton of metal bands were in the 80's, but don't get me wrong, there are some metal bands today.
