Normally I would tell you that something with your computer is conflicting with RobloxPlayerBeta.exe, but many players are having this problem, too.
Whatever update Roblox made is preventing certain users from connecting to the game altogether. The play button is pressed, the message appears that you're connecting to the server, and then RobloxPlayerBeta.exe never opens or opens and immediately closes.
The only solution I can offer you is to wait for Roblox to fix the problem. Then again, we all know just how "helpful" their updates are.
Unfortunately, the problem isn't as simple this time that a Roblox re-install will fix. For players who have installed or re-installed Roblox AFTER this recent update, RobloxPlayerBeta.exe refuses to work altogether.
Right now, the only fix can be achieved by the corporation itself.
