Would be nice if we could have motion blur effects in Roblox, I've been thinking that for a while. You may notice this in many games, for example; When you move your character's camera, you'll see those "blurry lines" that follows you where you look. You can simply enable this VFX by going to your Roblox Studio > Settings > Rendering > Motion Blur level. You can also set different levels, if you want increase the intensity of the effect. If you prefer disabling it, you can set it to "Disabled" so you won't see any of these effects. Yes, this CAN cause frame-rate issues as well, depending on your system's performance, this may not work for everyone.
Thanks for reading. |

You mean Roblox updates or the DevEx? I also agree with you, 2015 would be a great here for the graphics:D |

I am not entirely sure why it should be added. I mean, most games with motion blur are games with a realistic art-style, games where motion blur nicely clicks with the rest of the graphics. ROBLOX, not so much. |

World of tanks does this and it's great. Support for high end computers. |

I don't think it works well with the crisp, sharp, brick style of Roblox. Besides, do you really want them to spend resources doing that when they could fix or otherwise improve much more significant features in the game? |
|
MelanioJoin Date: 2013-07-23 Post Count: 134 |
@reaven
You could say that about any update.
For example, anybody could say instead of adding dynamic lighting they could've fixed bugs. |

ReavenJoin Date: 2008-06-17 Post Count: 9181 |
And what's your point? That makes it sound like Roblox releases features to try to distract people from blatant game issues that they either refuse to fix or don't have the ability to fix.

I'm not trying to make Roblox stupid, they can fix these kind of issues you know.

Support as long as I can disable it in the games when I don't want it on and Developers aren't able to control that - I get that it would be good in some cases, but to be able to blur the users screen could severely ruin a gaming experience. |
