You are living in Chicago. The city is divided into 5 factions: Abnegation, meant for the selfless; Amity, meant for the peaceful; Candor, meant for the honest; Dauntless, meant for the brave; and Erudite, intended for the knowledgeable. On a given day each year, all sixteen-year-olds take an aptitude test that will tell them for which faction they are best suited. After receiving the results of their test, they must decide whether to remain with their family or transfer to a new faction. You are a sixteen year old person on choosing day. You must choose your faction.
I honestly don't want any people saying "Omg so unoriginal". I loved the series and decided to make a RP, simple as that.

2. This takes place around 20 years before the book. So no meeting Four or Caleb.

Bio: Malachi was born in Abnegation, and he was always selfless. He saw many people having trouble being selfless, but it did not bother him. He loved life, and loved being Abnegation. He plans to choose Dauntless on choosing day.

Personality:Alanna hates unfairness....she stands up for everyone who is being oppressed, and when she can't do anything about unfairness, she will do her best. Other than that, Alanna is extremely competitive. Too competitive. She will often make decisions too quickly for her own good, which makes her very reckless. Alanna can be kind, but will be very rude to people who she gets a bad impression of.
Appearance: Alanna has light blond hair, kept back in various hairstyles. If she does let her hair down, she has long bangs covering her face, and her hair goes about halfway down her back. Other thatn hair, Alanna has light blue eyes, which can be seen as 'grey'. She has a narrow face, a tiny nose, and mischievous looking lips (read: thin lips.) Her overall body is more agile than strong, due to long hours sitting inside. Alanna usually wears clothing that she can find quickly, and doesn't think much of fashion. She does need glasses, but prefers to wear contacts, as glasses fall off much too easily.

Bio: Alanna was born into a relatively normal family of Erudites. Her mother, Jasmine, and her father, Jake, always thought of her as their less-than-perfect child. Alanna has one older sister, who was adored by the family. her sister Lara was the smartest, the most dedicated. However, Alanna took matters into her own hands and began acting, note the 'act'ing, like she was perfect as well. I guess that's where the story is right now.

Personality: Sadie is a generally happy person who mostly keeps to herself. She is quiet and thinks things through. Sadie is somewhat daring, and loves adventuring. Being born into Abnegation, she is slightly selfless and kind, but not like a normal Abnegation girl.
Appearance: She has long, raven-colored hair (Black) that would fall to the middle of her back if not in a bun. She has fair skin, which is an average Caucasian tone. Her eyes are a light crystal blue color, and stand out on her. She is only 5'3, and skinny. She looks serious, but is actually quite outgoing and happy.

Bio: Sadie grew up in a normal Abnegation family. Her mother and father didn't let her speak at the dinner table, unless she was directly asked a question. She never liked Abnegation because of it's simpleness, and always looked at the Dauntless jumping off trains. She never considered herself selfless enough to be in Abnegation, but that was where she was born.

Personality:Jaime has ADHD, so he is usually hyper, impulsive, and doesn't listen a lot. He is a born leader, he has a good sense of humor, and he is funny.
Appearance:Jaime has golden blond hair, emerald green eyes, and a handsome rugged face. He has an athletic body, with muscular arms, and he also has muscular legs. He is tanned, and stands at 6'6. He usually wears a black t-shirt, clean but faded blue jeans, and unlike most Dauntless, he doesn't have tattoos, yet..

Bio:Jaime doesn't know it, but he was born into a Divergent family. He has always been a risk taking, his ADHD was part of the reason he takes risks. He loves his family, and would sacrifice himself for his family, he also has a twin brother, Jason, but Jason's hair is jet-black, like his moms, but they have the same eye color. |
