(I want to meet Four. So bad.) |
(Want to be freaked out? This is twenty years before his time, I think. Or at least 4 years. That means that his parents are....doing it. Your parents did too. Go back 9 months from your birthday.) |
(I don't think i'd want to do that. o_o) |
(Yes, but now you're thinking about it. And you'll probably think about it subconsciously, and then I'll be proud of myself.) |

---ALL---
Dauntless flee for the train! You better get on that train. |
Alanna
I run with the Dauntless, hiding the fact that I have no idea what I'm doing. I try to imitate the rest, not standing out, but not being the best either. |
Sadie
I run with the rest of the Dauntless, feeling scared and at the same time, energetic. The train starts to come and I see the Dauntless-born easily hop onto the train. I begin to run with the train. |
Alanna
When everyone else jumps on the train, I notice that only the newbies are left. And me. Sighing, I know that I need to excel here, and make the best of my stupid decision. I jump on, grabbing onto the nearest pole-shaped thing. |
Sadie
I finally jump in, grabbing on to one of the silver bars or whatever. I pull myself in. At least I made it to the train. I hear the other Dauntless talk about jumping off of it. At this speed? Wow. These guys are crazy. And, I guess I am too. |
Alanna
I hide in a corner, latching onto my bar for dear life. How am I going to survive this? I remember hearing stories....stories about Dauntless jumping OFF trains. Gulp. |
Malachi
l run quick and l am almost there. I cannot reach the train. I am almost there. I see a girl (whatever female character posted last) and hope she pulls me up. I make a dive and barely get my hands on the ledge, although l am slipping. |
Alanna
A kid is about to fall off, so I instinctively grab their hand. "Here," I say, giving him a hand up. |
Malachi
"Phew, thank you!" I say |
Sadie
I watch a girl help a boy onto the train. An Erudite girl. That was unusual. I refocus my attention on the passing buildings. |
Alanna
"It was nothing...I probably shouldn't have done that." I say, cautious of the Dauntless leaders. Aren't they supposed to prove themselves? No. I will not stop being kind because of this. That's for certain. |
Malachi
I see a boy, remembering his name being Jaime, not make it on to train. Poor boy.
(Yes, Jaime is out) |
--ALL--
The train slows near a skyscraper and Dauntless start to jump on the building, although not all make it. |
Alanna
"Drat." I mutter, but jump anyways. I barely make it onto the building, skidding down. One of my knees is cut open, and a bit of blood begins pouring from it. |
Malachi
I jump off and land on my feet barely. I see the girl who helped me up bleeding. "Are you ok?" l ask |
Sadie
It's now or never. I jump onto the building, barely making it. I roll, scraping my arms and knees. I eventually stop and turn over to lay on my back. I'm relieved, but at the same time, wish I didn't make it over. I sit up. I know we will have to do worse things than jumping off trains. |
Alanna
"Yeah. Fine. Pain is just in the mind." I say, standing up. I repeat that to myself as I walk over. Pain is in the mind. Pain is in the mind. |
---ALL---
You hear a dauntless leader shouting something about jumping off a ledge. He says people will jump three at a time. You hear your name as well as two others. You walk up nervously. You are told to jump along with the other two people. |
Malachi
"You guys ready?" l nervously say. |
Sadie
"Totally," I respond, trying not to sound scared. "How about we jump together on three?" |
