Has anyone else seen Soul Eater? I personally think it's my favorite anime. Lucky Star and FMA are both really good, but I got hooked to Soul Eater easily. Crona/Chrona/Krona (I think those are all the ways to spell it, haha) is easily my favorite character. (S)He may not have a gender, but (s)he's still pretty awesome in my opinion. go step on a lego brick | ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ) PugglePie returns from the depths of Banland tomorrow

I enjoyed Soul Eater, but the ending was GOD AWFUL. I think it's probably my lowest ranked anime on my list on MyAnimeList just because of the ending. My favorite characters were definitely Black Star and Death the Kid. Honestly, I wish Soul had more "significance" in the series. I didn't feel like he was a very good character after the first part of it since he got so depressing in the second half of the series. ;-;

I finished the manga last night (main acc of OP right here, finally unbanned) Yeah, Black*Star and Kid were pretty fun characters. Soul was cool, but not as good as them. The ending though Anime and manga both had pretty lousy endings Crona should have returned in the manga That part made me so sad I just love Crona's character I'll have to read SE:NOT when it's finished. If I had to wait any longer for the rest of Soul Eater (I used an app to read it, I'm pretty sure not all the volumes are released in USA yet) I would've flipped. go step on a lego brick | ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )

Crona had a good character, definitely had a very sympathetic childhood. I wish Crona had much more significance in the ending.. iunno. Here's what I think should've happened in the end. Lord Death and Spirit actually die after being hit my Asura. I was just DONE with Soul Eater when it showed that Lord Death survived, I was like "Are you serious? Way to get rid of the emotional moments". Like literally no one died in Soul Eater, I would like to see at least one good guy die, and that would be Lord Death. That's not to say I hate him, I just think his death would've made the ending 10x better. I'm going to say it, but I think the ending was worse than the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist.

Spirit lived to Asura's blow just like Lord Death. I would read the manga, but nah.

Okay, I thought so The ending really could have been better in both. I also loved the Soul Eater reference in the Lucky Star OVA go step on a lego brick | Ham-ha, hamigos!
