(This is some heavy reading, lazy readers are advised to look near the bottom for the "too long didn't read" section.) 1. Scenario You, the ROBLOX game developer want people to beta test your next AAA game. The problem is you want to signify that its a beta not just with a simple "[Beta]" tittle on it, also you don't want people to Spread features of the game or storylines or any of that stuff. This new feature will allow to have people realize a bit more that it's beta and to not to say spoilers or any thing of the sort. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. What is a Beta\Alpha? An Alpha is a stage of development where its somewhat workable, however a Beta is basically the developmental stage where it's almost the final product and where bugs get ironed out. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. What is a NDA? A NDA is a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Basically if you give any info about the new game that the game developers think are confidential, the game devs have the right to kick you out of the closed\open beta or even banning you from the final product in some cases. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Closed Beta\Alpha Sign-up If the said game that the Developers are making is open for testing but dont want EVERYONE to play it, they can have a "Sign-up for Beta\Alpha Access" button in-place for "Play". Also, this CAN have no thumbnails. If the place is Open Beta\Alpha, it will just have a "Play". ROBLOX Staff automatically get instant access. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. NDAs The NDAs are going to pop-up just before the players first time accessing the bet\alpha game. The NDAs will normally default to "Do not discuss Player's game until the game is out of beta or stated other wise". The NDAs can be changed. If said user were to post on these forum "OMG LOOK AT THIS SPOILER FOR BETA GAME", the developer go to their games and config ban-lists, which obviously bans the user for set amount of time, e.g. Till Alpha is over. Also there will be another report for the Developer's account if they have a beta game with an NDA called "Leaking" Which means to "Leak" Info about something, this can be used to take down those spoilers. (this sounds abuse-able) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6. "Betas & Alphas" Game section This is a new game section where it shows the following; Paid access Open Betas, Paid access Closed Betas, Paid access Open Alphas, Paid access Closed Alphas, Free Open Betas, Free Closed Betas. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7. Availability Free members are allowed to have 1 beta\alpha place BC members are allowed to have 5 beta\alpha places TBC members are allowed to have 15 beta\alpha places OBC members are allowed to have 50 beta\alpha places It will cost 250 Robux to make a Beta\Alpha place For the first few month of the feature being released, it will be BC Beta to experiment. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8. To combat False Developer reports In order to combat false developer reports there will be two options I have. 1. Spoiler Mods These Mods respond to Spoiler Reports. When they are reviewing the report they have to ask themselves, Is the post giving anything away? Is the post even talking about the game? Why was it reported? 2. Strikes When a Mod finds a spoiler report they check if its really a spoiler then delete it, if it isn't then the user's place is given one strike, if you have 15 strikes on your game, it's put back down to a regular game place until you buy beta\alpha markings again. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 9. Reporting in-game glitches Glitches happen all the time, this report system is in-game and on the game's page, it's GUI in game is in the Settings\Leave Game page has a green edge and says "Report Glitch". In the Game Page right next to the "Report abuse" is a green "Report Glitch" button. When you report it, the main questions you can select are; Graphical, Scripting, Unusual slowness, Other. the page is like the Report abuse page but it says "Tell Player how you found the glitch and what was it." instead. In-game you can choose to take a picture or video or not. The bug report end up on a separate inbox for the developer called "Bug Reports". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10. Feedback for the Developer The Developer can choose whether to have feedback or not. When its enabled and you leave the game you get a pop-up saying "How did you like the game?", also this is skip-able. The feed back will be a Roblox system message in to the user's inbox. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11. too long didn't read (I know you well lazy readers) Betas for games with a new game section and agreements where you cant say anything about the game out side the game. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12. Feedback for this idea This idea of mine will probably help the Game developers here on ROBLOX. If you like this idea, support it. If you don't, use constructive criticism. It you say too long didn't read then I will brake you in half because I made a tl;dr section for that case.

This is actually a fairly interesting idea. I'd like to see it implemented in the near future.

Good idea but to solve the hassle on the moderation side of this idea as dealing with these 'spoiler reports' would take a lot of work I would suggest bans are only carried out by the game developers from that person playing their own games or their groups games. Yes these people could then leak other games but I imagine a group of trusted game developers creating a group in which there were ranks for legit testers so people know how to chose as their testers.

@Kivex (Quotes below is from the OP) "Also there will be another report for the Developer's account if they have a beta game with an NDA called "Leaking" Which means to "Leak" Info about something, this can be used to take down those spoilers. (this sounds abuse-able)" Let me attempt to clarify this: "Also there will be another report for the Developer's account if they have a beta game" If you have a beta\alpha game you have that Spoiler report option. "(this sounds abuse-able)" Note that I said that. I believe that they will make Tester groups, for the sake of legit testers that won't leak info.

"It will cost 250 Robux to make a Beta\Alpha place" *adds beta in title* *bans people who disclose info from group ban script* Not worth 250. It should be free, it's just another active slot.
