ROBLOX says they want the best quality of clothes to earn the profit. Some of 'the best designers' want to sell under the price floor. Users with at least 1000 sales can apply to sell under the price floor but only approved if their clothing is deemed to be of a high enough quality. This means the best clothing gets the most sales. Simples!

This could be an add on for my thread here: http://web.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=125559219

What has place views got to do with clothing? What stops someone who has an old account from selling low quality clothing? Sorry, but your idea doesn't really work; this does.

However, your thread inspired me to a find a Price Floor Solution so thanks for that. :)

Those are only examples, sir. The idea is to meet a certain number of requirements to actually buy and sell without the price floor. There's no need to be rude.

I wasn't been rude, sorry if that is how you read my reply but I simply stated two questions that anyone considering the idea would have and I was 99% there was answer to that would convince a moderator hence saying your idea wouldn't work. Also, yes requirements are needed but I believe 1000+ Sales and High Quality Clothing is all that is needed. :)

I was 99% sure there was no answer* I shouldn't have stopped proof reading every post I write.

Yes, but remember, the price floor is needed most of the time. Sure, 1000+ sales and high quality clothing could be a solution, but people that know what they're doing can easily sell alot in one day, especially to the new NBCers. To make it fair, people should have at least about, say, 10,000 place visits, to make it harder to use roblox without price floor.

No support. If this were to be implemented some of the issues that existed pre-price floor would return, and you would also be "stealing" business from those selling at higher prices.

Surely the people who can make a lot of sales with the price floor are the ones that deserve to sell under the price floor? The place visits requirement simply would not work and be unfair because place views have no relation to how good your clothing is. Maybe increase it to 10,000 clothing sales or 5,000 to make it a tougher system.

@DataStore Well, ROBLOX said they wanted the best designers to get the most sales? This gives the best designers the most sales.

@Kivex, And if the people who have sold X thousand were to sell under, WHO do you think NBC (and BC) are more likely to buy from? Those attempting to make money off of it, or you, the people who are doing it for fun or to receive a pittance? It would be the ones selling it cheaper, you would basically dominate all other clothing creators who are just starting out. You're not fixing anything, you're just making it worse for the creators of clothing.

"The place visits requirement simply would not work and be unfair because place views have no relation to how good your clothing is." Still, it would make it more difficult to buy and sell without the price floor, as previously stated. Like said, this benefits some clothing designers, and another clothing designer would be able to buy his shirt WITHOUT the price floor. With other things needed, it would be significantly harder to obtain a world without the price floor.

@DataStore I see were your coming from but then you could say that's exactly what ROBLOX do when they sell their own cheap clothing.

The difference between the ROBLOX account and normal members is the fact that any money made from the sale of items isn't being regurgitated into the economy, nor does it affect the sales of other people's clothing (as to be honest, ROBLOX's clothing is terrible).
