They're splitting it into two parts?
I almost wish Harry Potter hadn't done that, if only to keep all of these movies that are coming out now from being split into two or three parts. |

oh they're doing the stupid hairry potter thing with it?
why didn't those idiots do it with the first book since it was actually good
tahu how could you say hairry potter |

Meh. I've seen too much killing, not enough plot. |

Come on, another one? I'm really getting sick of movies that do this. It makes more money though so... |

They only split it into two parts because the book is so good and detailed they don't wanna miss anything.
I have a pin aswell, and I plan on making a shirt. I made one for Catching Fire.

That's just a rumor. It's still going to be on Nov. 21, 2014.
Phillip's death didn't delay them from releasing the movie, but overall I'm super excited for Mockingjay. Also, excited for the Divergent Movie, actually alot of Book based plot movies are coming out and I'm really super duppeer excited. |

There is a high chance of the movie being delayed..
Divergent in my opinion[from the trailer] looks terrible. The dialogues and acting but i haven't read the book |

@Asassin,
Three days late, but put two spaces between Harry and Potter.
The extra space will be eliminated when you press post, but it keeps it from getting caught by the filter. Basically, Harry Potter is filtered but Harry and Potter by themselves are not.
Same goes for Lord Of The Rings. |

trying to squeeze every detail of a book onto film never works no matter how long you drag it out, they should aim for making a movie that captures the essence of the book instead of trying to translate every word of it to the big screen
also, the fact that this is usually only done for the final part of a series is evidence that hollywood's only doing it to drag the series out longer to make a bit of extra cash |

If you think about it from a filmmaking perspective, and all money aside (oh yeah, filmmaking is EXPENSIVE), it sort of makes sense. Mockingjay was somewhat mediocre in plot compared to the first two. They need room to make up for that on the screen, this is nothing new. If you don't split it, you're squeezing it all into <2 hours and that alone is troublesome, especially in post. If you do split it, then you have some wiggle room in plot and story. The cinematography is going to be nothing special, especially not with the timeframe they're on, so there has to be somewhere they can make up for it. |

Divergent is supposed to be good, despite the critic reviews of the trailers. Allegiant is actually the real story of the Divergent series, but you should still read the first two books so you know what's up. |
