When you delete a non-limited/on-sale item from your invntry

You should get a 70% refund. I have never deleted anything from my inventory but I know that some people delete things that they don't like from their inventory then complain about a refund. (Subject title was too long so I had to take some letters out of the word Inventory) Patience, young grasshoper

What I don't understand is why you would delete something from your inventory, I'd like to know. Deleting hats seem like a waste to be honest.
