Let me explain this to you, so I hope you'll understand.
There will never be a "New Beatles." Why? Because the Beatles can't be replicated. The difference between American society in the 1960's and now is too great, as is the state of music. The Beatles were something that had never been seen before, and was completely unprecedented. The simple fact that One Direction can be called the "New Beatles" means that they aren't. No band will ever take the world by storm like they did. |
