ROBLOX won't let me activate a game

I keep getting this error after I removed my game from a Parent game Error This place needs to be a Start Place of a Game in order to be set as Active.

You must be trying to set a universe game as a active game, I'm assuming. Set the game that contains the portal to take you to that game as the active game. If you don't understand, PM me.

I didn't understand your post but I was board and clicked the Games tab in Develop and just set Configured the start place for my park

In 1 of your other games you made a portal to that game. So now people have to come through the game you made the portal in to get to that game. So to fix it go into "Develop" and click the game you made the portal in. Then If your scroll down There will be Configure This Place don't click that click Configure this GAME. Go into places and remove the extra one (the one you cant activate). If you dont know which one you made the portal in then go in all your games and try this! Hope its helpful Owen8860

I have the same problem but one thing. I dont have any Universal games. None of them are apart of a game. I think all my games are locked forever.

Honestly this problem appears so often I've given up trying to explain Universes with people who don't understand how games function nowadays. Just youtube it, if you get lucky you'll figure it out. But trying to explain it to you people and you'll think were speaking in another language.

The best way I have found is to roll-back to the last update [The one before it happend] but make sure to save the Map inside so you don't loose it.

I have come up with a solution for all of these problems. I had the same thing happen to me. Don't listen to the people who say "you don't understand how the universe system works" because if your like me you do. If your like me, your problem is this: You somehow managed to remove all starting places and now you can't set any of your places as active at all. You searched online everywhere and nobody has a solution, you've gone through all the configure and develop pages and tried everything just to come up as a blank. Solution: 1. Open up roblox studio 2. Click create new: Then select Baseplate. MAKE SURE IT IS A NEW PROJECT. IF YOU TRY TO EDIT A PLACE ALREADY PUBLISHED TO ROBLOX IT WON'T WORK. 3. Click file and and then click publish to ROBLOX. DO NOT PUBLISH OVER YOUR OTHER GAMES OR IT WON'T WORK. Instead, just click (Create New) In the upper left. Then click Save. Go through the steps and click create place. 4. Go online to Roblox site and click develop. 5. Activate the place you just set up. This will work because you just created a new starting place by publishing something new to roblox. 6. Click configure on the new place you just created and set as active. 7. Click games. 8. At the top, you should see This place is part of: CLICK WHATEVER IT SAYS HERE. 9. Click places. 10. You should see start place up top, and the game you just created is that start place. 11. Click remove on the start place. 12. You'll see a blue box that says "set" 13. Click the blue box and select whatever place you want to be your start place. 14. Click develop at the top of your screen. 15. Make whatever place you just set as your start place active. 16. Go to your profile and make sure it worked, and that you have your places back. I hope this helped. I started freaking out like a lot of you. You guys do understand the universe system, you just messed around until you had no start place and you got stuck like me and tried everything. Thanks, for reading, If you have trouble just PM me.
