My laptop recently got slower for browsing

I was downloading a legit program and it had a homepage hijacker called "mysearchdial" I deleted it from programs and everything and now my laptop has gotten slower, the other users on this laptop aren't even affected. And I just bought this laptop a month ago

Apparently it wasn't valid, and if it WAS, you didn't install it from the offical site and you downloaded malware along with it. At this point, depending on what KIND of malware, you may need to wipe your HDD. If it's malware that affects the memory and other components, you may be out of luck.
