"Your generation is scr3wed...you guys don't learn anything, your all to busy with computers and stupid videos popping your braincells."
I say...
"Well...your forgetting who raised our generation, plus, how did your life turn out? You live with your Grandma, and you have no job, well played."
*No response*
Was I to harsh or was I right to defend our generation? |

|

That's putting it kindly, scrub. |
|
|
You had the right to defend it. |

Ehm. A tad harsh, mate. But excellent comeback. |
|

Could go either way; you could of made him have a flash back to his whole life and for him it might of just hit him that we wasted his life. That dawning someone is the worst feeling that could ever come upon someone even worse then death in my opinion. But that is taking it to an extreme. You were a bit to harsh; but your uncle is wrong. |

The classic deadbeat uncle who does nothing but criticize |
|

He was passive aggressively criticizing you. You were justified. |

No he got angry when he said it. He also said "Thank god I will be dead when your generation takes control." |

I'm not proud of this generation. It's to used to everything in life being done for them. Your response was wrong in my opinion, silence is the best option in a scenario like that. I would of agreed and moved on. |

Our Generation is by far the most advanced and of course entertaining. |

That's the issue. Technology controlling the world. The generation we have now, isn't that bad but I can assure you, your children will be living in a world full of radiation, obesity and as I stated before, having the world handed to them just by saying "Can I have a?" |
|
KazdamJoin Date: 2012-04-17 Post Count: 7610 |
That's like most other things, a stereotype....they said the people of the 70's and 80's would be brats and punks because of rock music and other music, but they are fine.
Technology will not control us...obesity won't be very abundant, there are children all over the world starving and some that actually don't want to be fat so they exercise and eat right. Radiation....please....scientists proved that radiation will not be a problem since the sun has been emitting high radiation on earth since the creation of the planet. However, the whole "Can I have a" statement may be true, depending on the child, I will not allow it. |
|

I think that was too harsh, you should respect elders at least some. In a way, what he is saying makes sense because many kids in this generation are too obsessed with technology (and drugs and alcohol too). But you,re right too, we should be proud of our generation because we will pioneer a technological world. |

You punched him in the gut.
>Ring, Ring, Ring, Housekeeping?< |
|
|
You shouldn't have to sink so low as to beat him at his own game.
He's fallen on hard times and it may've been better to just say that you don't agree with him politely. |
