Am I the only one that cant use an aircraft seat? The traditional seats aren't allowing the plane to fly so its just a seat now.
And yes, I have an aircraft seat, so don't ask me if it's a vehicle seat or any other thing; it is an aircraft seat that worked before the last update. |

Flux, this is a tech issue.
Anyway, a recent exploit fix from Roblox destroyed the ability to use hopperbins and other LUA services. You'll have to fix your scripts on your own. It is an intended fix. |

Yeah thats what I figured and thats where the prob is:
I can't script, so unless I can find a free model that works I'm kinda outta luck.
But hey I can't complain, if Roblox is actually trying to patch exploits, thats something that I've been waiting to see for awhile. |

obviously said update did one thing right but now it should be at the top of the "must fix" list
I mean what is roblox without planes? it takes out an entire element of the gameplay. |

Oh my god you guys. Roblox didn't break "planes". They REMOVED the ability to use standard hopperbins which TYPICALLY POWER PLANES as well as other things. They HAD to fix this because there was a security issue.
They KNOW it causes problems but they've already made a statement saying that people have to fix it on their own. |

I can't speak for everyone else on here, but the reason this bugs me is that while I can build things untill the cows come home, I can't script and since we're in the middle of the school year, I don't have the time nor the drive to learn. In the end though I'm with tom: the update patched an exploit and thats something we need more of. |

lightbulb: why don't you guys check and tell me if theres a plugin for adding a hopper bin or somthing like it to fix planes. I have a hard time believing someone hasn't found a fix by now. |

The people who created the plane scripts and all those other scripts need to fix the scripts and then they should work properly. A lot of work for a lot of scripts but it HAS to be done. :/ |

Omg this is happening to me too. All these older plane kits that are not cm32 have seemed to quit all together. Even on 777 plane roleplay for Aqua Star air it won't work either. So obviously the new roblox update has broke them. Email or message roblox about it. |

Air craft seats have not been working for sure some have though but they do work in studio mode but you dont have a mouse icon so maybe something changes from there. |

battleship turret tools also no-longer work...i hit Y and nothing i hit F and nothing...i even changed it to a local script |

I think Roblox should just redo the entire flight-script, what would you call it, process? OR Roblox can make their own aircraft seat that you can adjust the max speed, turn speed, turn angle etc. By doing this, it eliminated the possibility of Roblox script exploiters and allows everyone to enjoy the wonders of flying.
Idea - If you put an airfcraft seat on something anchored, (optional so for building games, people can't move the anchored stuff just by putting a seat on it)it allows the anchored object to move as if it were unanchored, but all of the parts stay in the same place, corresponding to the other parts.
Yes, I do realize this would be difficult to achieve and if it does happen, will take forever to perfect. This is just an idea for Roblox to think about |

Not quite sure if this has been resolved yet. Simply Ctrl-X the script under Aircraft, Aircraft Tool and then delete it. Copy and paste a Local Script into the place of the script you just deleted. Rename it "Aircaft" because most scripts have it linked by name and won't work if you just have it as "Local Script". Then paste the material into the new script. Everything should work fine. For the battleship turret thing, skim over the script to figure out if the script parent has a specific name. You might have 2 scripts with the same name or 1 script not linked to the proper parent. |
