Exactly what the title says. NO MORE PRICE FLOOR! I'm tired of having to wait 20 days just so I can buy a shirt and a pair of pants. Also, think about group uniforms! Yes, GROUP UNIFORMS! What if there is a group with a rule that says: You must have the full uniform within 15 days or you're exiled. Hey Roblox! Sure you earn a lot of money because of high prices. But the price is not what makes you rich, it's the amount of people who buy it! If you want to keep your price floor so bad then lower it to 10 Tix and 5 Rbx.
I know you money greedy scammers are gonna disagree. I can predict it. |

What are you talking about?You are the one that is a greedy. |

Fun Fact:Your group can sell t-shirts instead of shirts and pants.Blame your group not ROBLOX. |

Look ROVBLOX spends a lot on servers.Imagine each server cost just 5 dollars now paying for 1000 servers a day.That totals to $5000 a day now imagine paying that amount for a month(30 days),that's $150,000 a month.Now multiply that by 12.That totals to $1,800,000 a year. |

@naruto, And do you realize that's not the problem here? They have enough money to give 100,000$ a month to OBC'ers. Tell me they aren't billionares already. The whole price floor was superfluous from the start. They were perfectly capable of lowering it from 300 tix to 100 tix the whole time, because it was never needed except for roblox's greed. The money they spend monthly to maintain the servers are what matters. Now consider adding how much money they get from countless bc income and ad revenue each month. And also notice the servers they use are incredibly cheap because they're cheapskates.
And, btw, this is a support if you haven't realized.

I may support your cause, but there are thousands of these posts. They won't lower it, which makes NBC buy BC. That's the catch. They want you to buy BC, only a few resist and some can't afford BC. The rest buys it eventually. |

@Desp,
It really is people like you, and this thread's original poster, that make the ROBLOX community what it is today - self obsessed and whining. ROBLOX's main intention wasn't to drum up more sales of their products, if that were really the case they would have left it at 300 Tix, as that leaves a much bigger incentive than 100 Tix. Whilst yes, you can point out they said it was one of the objectives, it can be an objective/motive for any of their updates - everything they do brings in more sales, if you think about it (or at least potential sales).
ROBLOX increased the price floor as per the suggestion for it. It was also done for a number of beneficial reasons. Now, tell me this, if ROBLOX had originally set the price floor for items at 100 Tix (since 2007), would you be here complaining now? No, I would hazard the bet that you wouldn't be complaining. The main reason people are complaining is because they can't flaunt their money as much as they used to be able to, and that's just how I see it I'm afraid.
Also, I do believe you need to take a class in "Business 101" or similar; ROBLOX isn't a charity. The main aim of a business is to make as much money as possible, realistically. I could understand your statement of them being greedy, I really could, if they pocketed the extra money they make - they don't. Any profits they make are likely funneled into advertising, hiring (moderators, developers, etc) and the product (ROBLOX - in terms of hardware, software, hosting, etc). It's simply short sighted people, like yourself, which destroy this game. |

"or you read the motto of the game, "IT'S FREE"

Well, then it's a case of dealing with it. If you don't pay money, then you don't get the benefits of paying money, it's simple. |

a PLAYER suggested this. and data said a perfectly good reason to not remove it. and deltav did too. The only reason I am posting on this thread is because I have no need to worry about this. I only worry about the fact that it takes a long time for girls to get a different hair other then pinktastic. other then that, I don't really see a need to remove it. you can still have as much fun as you can if you didn't look like a total loser. |

"@Desp,
It really is people like you, and this thread's original poster, that make the ROBLOX community what it is today - self obsessed and whining."
So we're being "self obsessed" and "whining" for wanting affordable clothing back, which we've already had for 6 years until roblox took away?
It really is people like you, who discourage others, pulls economics out of thin air, thinks he's always right, and acts higher than everyone so you mini-mod on the forum of a kids game. Is that not self obsessed?
"ROBLOX's main intention wasn't to drum up more sales of their products, if that were really the case they would have left it at 300 Tix, as that leaves a much bigger incentive than 100 Tix. I agree, but NBC get treated low enough as it is. They could have gone with many other paths than price floor, or have a lower price floor along with other small paths.
"ROBLOX increased the price floor as per the suggestion for it."
And they had the nerve to listen to the greedy and selfish suggestors of it who already had BC.
"It was also done for a number of beneficial reasons."
Which i've already proved wrong in the past.
"Now, tell me this, if ROBLOX had originally set the price floor for items at 100 Tix (since 2007), would you be here complaining now? No, I would hazard the bet that you wouldn't be complaining. Ahem, clothing came out in 2008.
Anyway, there's no doubt people wouldn't complain, and I bet 06-07'ers would be the ones to do so. The main reason people are complaining is because roblox ruined a brilliant feature for millions players and made clothing nearly unaffordable.
"Also, I do believe you need to take a class in "Business 101" or similar; ROBLOX isn't a charity. The main aim of a business is to make as much money as possible, realistically."
And I understand that. But if they want to make money I don't see why they're giving away 100,000$ a month to OBC'ers. And again, they could take other paths, but I don't see why they need to take any path at all. We were all better without price floor, and roblox was perfectly able to maintain devex as it was, before price floor.
"I could understand your statement of them being greedy, I really could, if they pocketed the extra money they make - they don't. Any profits they make are likely funneled into advertising, hiring (moderators, developers, etc) and the product (ROBLOX - in terms of hardware, software, hosting, etc)."
And they get more than enough money to do all that from their ad revenue and bc income. In fact they have so much money from it that they're willing to give 100,000$ a month. They had enough money to rent a battleship! They also use the cheapest servers.
"It's simply short sighted people, like yourself, which destroy this game."
It's funny the way you talk about yourself. |

There are alternate ways for NBCers to get the money for the clothes. I'll recommend TCing since you have under 15 days to do it. There are guides you can find and it can get you a lot too.
@Despairus
DevEx actually gives them profit instead, and the ecomony system in ROBLOX is designed so even at the worst case scenario where all of the ROBUX was converted to real money using DevEx, they would still have 90% of the money used to buy the robux in the first place, at minimum. |
